The all time high seems to be due to the helicopter crash. The other cases seem relatively insignificant too.

It just feels that, in the relatively small group of people that can be loosely defined as "foreign politicians prominent enough for me to be aware of" the mortality rate due to unnatural causes is at an all time high

I was thinking the leader of the Russian opposition dying in prison, the president of Slovakia fighting for his life after been repeatedly shot, the President of Iran and other senior ministers dying in a helicopter crash, the assassination of the former Prime Minister of Japan....

Has anyone else noticed that quite a few prominent politicians have been dying lately?
Although in all seriousness, I'm curious what prompted this. I haven't noticed this, but you're probably referring to British politicians.

Has anyone else noticed that quite a few prominent politicians are really really old, many of the age where one would expect them to die?

Israel's Defence Minister and Finance Minister are pressing for a significant increase in illegal settler colonialism and the further theft of large areas of Palestinian land, to the point of creating an entire new city for land-grabbing Zionist settlers:

Israel is an invading, occupying force.

What's the point of chatting about these things online if you're going to tell anyone who disagrees with you to shove off?

I'm sure there's a subreddit you could go instead where you wouldn't accidentally run into someone with a different view on the conflict.
You're probably right.

I just get angry about this because people are being murdered.
How very Israeli of you
The difference being that I am not channelling my anger into the punishment killing of tens of thousands of civilians, many of them children.

Zionist extremists want Palestinian civilians and children to starve to death:

The Palestinian Government is not holding the hostages, Hamas is.

Everyone except Israel now wants a ceasefire.
Apparently only Israel wants to free the hostages. :eyeroll:
Israel wants to render the Gaza strip uninhabitable. That is what they are doing. 80% of buildings in the territory are destroyed or damaged. They are bombing "humanitarian areas" where THEY TOLD civilians to move to.

Israel is carrying out a genocidal scorched earth policy.

Fuck you.

Hamas accepted the recent ceasefire proposals, right? The Israeli government refused.

Biden is withholding a shipment of arms (thousands of bombs), as a reaction.

Many people boycott the Eurovision as it allowed Israel compete.
Students win protest with university to get them to cut ties/investment in companies operating in the occupied territories.

Some small victories, overall too many dead civilians. What happens next?

No, because the longer the war drags on, the worse the publicity is for Israel, which is exactly what Hamas wants.

You'd have thought it might have occurred to the Palestinian government to give up the hostages by now.

"As Israeli bombs fall on homeless, starving and wounded Palestinians, there are no longer any places of safety in Gaza."

- Statement by Oxfam, today.

Israel is committing an atrocity and nobody is doing anything to stop them.
