I don't know that variant, but try starting here and you won't have to worry about the errors on The Variant Bank:

Question about a possible variant

by DougJoe » Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:11 pm

Curious (since variantbank.org seems to not be 100% working, lots of errors browsing pages) if anyone knows of a variant of the classic game where the only changes to the map are adjusting things so that the three "dual coast" provinces were actually spilt into two provinces? (It looks like the Modern Diplomacy II map does that, but I was looking for somthing simpler/less expanded than that).

If so, has anyone ever played such a variant.. and if you have what did you think of it?
