I'm bumping this thread so that Zultar's resignation is no longer the most recent announcement thread.

It has been a failing of human imagination that in virtually all dystopian sci-fi the AI is pursuing the very human fantasy of world domination, when the reality is much more likely to see rebellious automatons with an almost religious compulsion to create and sell ever increasing volumes of cheap disposable sauce cups.
