We have a winner!
It's always fun to have a pick who no one had ever heard of until about a week ago. (Also, I think we, as a group, did quite well in our questioning this round.)

Next round up imminently.
Yeah, some very quick geographic narrowing, and also you asked the critical question to avoid getting bogged down in Zambian politics.

Some recent QMs have made some sneaky picks (where a person will be born in one place but will be famous for doing something somewhere else). So, I'm going to spend a question to check the following:

Is this individual most famous for governmental, political, or military activity located in one of the eight countries in my previous post?

Is this person from a country where the official language, or one of the main official languages, is English?
Yes.
Assuming that "from" means "born in", my read is that our list of birth countries is down to:

Botswana
Zambia
Malawi
Lesotho
Eswatini (Swaziland)
Namibia
Mauritius
Madagascar (maybe: English once was an official language, but not anymore, and it doesn't seem that common there)

1,2,3,4,5,6,7. Real being born in Africa south of the 15th parallel south, but not in Zimbabwe or South Africa (or what is currently part of Zimbabwe or South Africa)
8. Born on or after January 1, 1910
9. Currently alive
10. From a country where the official language, or one of the main languages, is English
11. Primarily famous for government, politics, and/or the military

So we know this person is from a place which today would be in:

Angola
Botswana
Zambia
Malawi
Mozambique
Lesotho
or
Madagascar
Also Eswatini (Swaziland) and Namibia. Depending on how the QM interprets "Africa", Mauritius and Réunion are in play as well (I would personally count those as being part of Africa).
