1866 was year of the battle Königgrätz, a decisive win of the Prussian army over the Austrian army, that shifting the power in Germany from the more diplomatic Austrians to the warmongering Prussians and thus had global long run consequences. This resulted in the „lesser German solution“ with Austria leaving the German Empire forming Austro-Hungarian Empire in the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867

I'll do something different since there's already been some Civil War stuff! The Third Battle of Nanking a crazy end to a crazy war the Taiping Rebellion, aka that war the guy said he was Jesus' brother and one of the deadliest in history.

1858, a sequence of notes playable on the valveless bugle, and other non valved brass instruments. In the key of C, these notes would be C4-C5-G4-C5, with 8 indicating the octave of a chord, and 5 the fifth.

The Crimean War was fought from October 1853 to February 1856 between the Russian Empire and an ultimately victorious alliance of the Ottoman Empire, France, the United Kingdom, and Sardinia-Piedmont.
