Registration in the last two weeks has been brisk. We now have past Dixiecon winners from the following years confirmed: 1994, 1997 -2000, 2003- 2005, 2007, 2009-2013, 2015-2019, 2021-2022 (with 2006 as a maybe.) Are these geezers over the hill? Find out, register today!
Some have told us they want rides to/from RDU - if so we need your flight information and cell number..
We appreciate those who have volunteered to be Ambassadors, helping to integrate new attendees into the social activities on Thursday night and throughout the weekend. Could use more.
If you need to coordinate car rides or any other logistics with other players, join the NADF Discord server and select the Dixiecon role to join the discussion space. Contact David Hood for details on how. We will also be posting pictures and updates on that space during the event.
If you are staying in the dorm, you give David Hood that info when registering, and pay him directly. If you book hotels, do that directly with them. The dorms are either one or two to a room, and share a bathroom with one other room.
For purposes of travel on Sunday afternoon, remember that the last round starts at 8:30am and ends sometime between 3:30 and 5:30 pm, with awards shortly thereafter.
If you are willing to sandbox your Diplomacy games on Backstabbr while playing, to facilitate coverage on the Diplomacy Broadcast Network, notify David Hood when you register - it’s $5 off the registration fee!
