Welcome back! I'd say main thing is we've got AI bots now, zultar's reign of terror is over (j/k), otherwise not much has changed

There was some.. unpleasantness.. the word genocide was getting thrown around a fair bit.. this and that, I wouldn't worry about it..

edit: Of course the point and click interface, that'd be the main change I'd say. It's pretty nifty

And I am also sad they quit as admin/devs, but onwards and upwards

That's a nice feature! If i decide to play a game again some time in the future, i will try that!

The most relevant new feature (the one Octavious and in general we older webdippers dislike) is the point-and-click interface. It only exists for Classic, not for the variants, and you can choose if you want it or the vintage UI somewhere in your profile settings.

All I know about the new features is that they can be turned off or ignored without too much hardship. Although every now and then I press something unwise and a hideous monstrosity of a map projectile vomits its way over my phone screen...

I'd actually forgotten the Zultar thing had happened. The day to day existence of the site is largely unchanged. It was a sad day, though. Zultar, for all his faults, was unquestionably dedicated to the site and acted predominantly or completely in what he considered to be its best interests.

Do i want to know about the drama? 🤔
And can you tell me what the new features are?

There has been some drama. Zultar is no longer co-owner. There are some new features. The advertising spambots are getting weirder. PPSC has still not been re-introduced.

What did i miss on this site in the last 2 years i wasn't here?
