I wasn't 100% sure of his exact birthplace but I'm in a restaurant and I didn't want to be seen looking up Osama Bin Laden's Wikipedia page in public.

Funnily enough, both Khashoggi and Bin Laden came from extremely wealthy families in Saudi Arabia.
Oh, and Khashoggi interviewed him several times in the 90s in Afghanistan.

I think this is 19 so I'll just give the yes to this one.

And I'll clarify that I took a bit of a broad interpretation of "politics, military, or government." So you all may have to think slightly outside the box. Although I don't think too far outside. But, if it turns out I was horribly misleading and no one is close, I'll open the door to a few more questions rather than continuing to drop clues.
