Free guess: Bruce Lee.
Bruce Lee is correct

Most (but not all) of his movies were produced by Hong Kong studios - not Hollywood. His most famous was partially produced by Warner Brothers.

Also kind of a tricky birthplace as he was born in SF but most commonly associated with Hong Kong.
#239 vs. #546 in one of the greatest movie fight scenes of all time:

Great pick, great guess, great fight scene! See also - round 377 for one of Bruce Lee's teachers.

I don't know.

I'll say Peter Bogdanovich.

Primarily known for theater work?
No

I think that is 19. If Q20 comes and no one’s gotten it by then, and the question is not on the right track, I may offer a clue or additional questions at that time.

For now I’ll reiterate that the “Primarily known for acting in Hollywood movies” question, as asked, should probably be a no, but I didn’t have time to verify that immediately after it was asked.

My gut instinct here is a no, but I’m on mobile and can’t confirm that so I will pass (feel free to take the above as a clue)
