Flavius Aetius the general was born in what is now Bulgaria (but was affiliated with the Western Roman Empire so Italy would also work).

*Oh and Sweden for Erika Lust and France for Glutonny.

These three I could not figure out. If you did, my all means add them. For "Flavius Aetius" I was thinking of the webdip player, and I have zero idea where any of you are from and frankly don't care to know, so I skipped. Should've thought of other Flavius Aetiuses.
Flavius Aetii?

I put down Italy for flavius. somebody who's more familiar with that period of time can fix it if i'm wrong

I have only now just realized that I misspelled glutonny's name :p

just made a new sub sheet for you in the sheets to add the data to. i'll leave it publicly editable for now since idt we have any vandals
Added the raw data. Leave it open to the public, please. I'm not worried about vandals, and there is a high likelihood I disappear from the site at some point for an extended period of time, I don't want to leave you all in a lurch when that happens. Plus, more people can continue the list past 500.
Erika lust, glutonny, and flavius aetius all don't have nationalities assigned. idk if that was intentional and I don't want to mess your methodology so I only put down Sweden for Erika lust and France for glutonny since those are obvious, and will leave flavius aetius to your discretion (he was born in modern day Bulgaria but died in modern day Italy, idk where he lived most of his life)

Removing multiball games and adding the answers:
  1. Game 89 (Balki Bartokomous): Nicki Minaj, 240 posts (guess on post #221)
  2. Game 71 (JECE): Blas de Lezo, 206 posts (guess on post #164)
  3. Game 97 (JECE): Dead parrot, 189 posts (guess, too late, on post #165)
  4. Unknown, super-mysterious game
  5. Game 79 (damo666): Sergei Diaghilev, 169 posts (guess on post #150)
  6. Game 83 (Balki Bartokomous): Kirk Cameron, 160 posts (guess on post #138)
That huge gap between the first correct guess in game 71 and the end of the thread was mostly Jamie complaining, ha ha

Game 62 was hosted by DougJoe according to the spreadsheet (not Bonatogether), so I'm not sure where the typo is there. Game 62 was only 88 posts long. Also, Bonatogether has never hosted.
sorry I can't read apparently

62 was supposed to be 72
Ah, I should have been able to figure that out. Bonatogether did host a round, but hasn't won a game yet.
  1. Game 89 (Balki Bartokomous): Nicki Minaj, 240 posts (guess on post #221)
  2. Game 71 (JECE): Blas de Lezo, 206 posts (guess on post #164)
  3. Game 97 (JECE): Dead parrot, 189 posts (guess, too late, on post #165)
  4. Game 72 (Bonatogether) Douglas S. Freeman, 171 posts (guess on post #152)
  5. Game 79 (damo666): Sergei Diaghilev, 169 posts (guess on post #150)
  6. Game 83 (Balki Bartokomous): Kirk Cameron, 160 posts (guess on post #138)
That huge gap between the first correct guess in game 71 and the end of the thread was mostly Jamie complaining, ha ha. Most of these long games saw the threads die after around 20 more posts, while that thread went on for around 40 more posts.
another interesting case of a host: Kakarroto has both correctly guessed a character and hosted a game, but since the guessed character was in a multiball and the hosted round was from a pass, he has never won a game

This is all very interesting, DarthPorg. If Mimi is okay with it, maybe you could add a new sheet to the 20Q Google sheet with this information?
Is said Google sheet publicly available? I scanned the posts in this topic and didn't see a link anywhere?
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uXCl7ynaYyUH86zL98dIx8Bbo9WEJCqFnFFsfGg8vz4/edit?usp=sharing

it should also be in every 20q game's first post since its creation

The dead parrot is probably my favorite 20Q pick from before I started playing.
I got quite a bit of flak for that pick too, ha ha
Well, I picked the Liz Truss lettuce, so...

It seems like the USSR picks were lumped in to Russia as well, I know we've had Kasparov for example.
Yes, Kasparov was lumped into Russia, as I was just working with the modern map. However, any Ukrainian, Estonian, Kazakhstani, or other nationalities once part of the Soviet Union were separated if it made logical sense. But Kasparov was born in current Russia and he's ethnically Russian, so he got lumped there.
Kasparov was born in current Azerbaijan, and his parents were Armenian and Jewish.
Then I guess I didn't look close enough whoops. I'm dumb. I kinda just assumed because I knew he lived in Russia? Good reminder for me to always double-check.
