The end of the Western Roman Empire is a really interesting period. Great pick.
I’ll be honest - I originally meant to pick Attila the Hun, because of the round number matching his death year. After answering two questions, I checked the spreadsheet and realized Attila had already been picked, so I had to pivot.

Clever pick, Flavius Aetius was on my mental list back when the poster (who I suppose is technically who I guessed, as Spartaculous points out) was still active in the game, but I never got to QM after the idea popped in my head. It seems I may not have been the only one with the idea.

I will try to get a new round up later today (US)

Free guess: former 20 questions participant Flavius Aetius
Correct!
Objection, Aristocrat clearly guessed "former 20 questions participant Flavius Aetius", not "ancient Roman consul Flavius Aetius".

;)
Who's to say that former 20 questions participant Flavius Aetius wasn't a consul in ancient Rome :3

Born after Antipope Ursinus was elected in 366, on, let's say, January 6?

Born after May 1, 305 A.D. when Emperor Diocletian abdicates and retires to his palace at Salona (modern Split) on the Adriatic coast, after a reign of nearly 21 years, in which the last vestiges of republican government have disappeared.
Yes.

Was this person either 1) a consul, but not an emperor or 2) an emperor for less than 3 years?

I'll waste my free guess on Constantine XI solely because of the game number
And I'll use mine on Constantine the Great.
Not Constantine.
