Jean-Luc Melenchon is correct! There is a decent chance he will be either the next French prime minister or president. I was reading about the French election and saw that he was born/grew up in Tangier, and thought I would employ the “misleading birthplace” trick again like I did with Toshiro Mifune and Yo-Yo Ma.

Unless it was someone who was born in Africa to parents from overseas, or something like that.

I was so close to guessing Peter Hain, British cabinet minister, born in Kenya. But he was born 1 degree south. So close!

maybe one of the Canary Islands or other Atlantic or Mediterranean island
very unlikely, but possibly North African or Eritrean from an ethnic minority
