Thanks! The fact that everyone kept asking "primarily famous" gave me a hunch and I knew Kasparov has some vocal political opinions.

Did they change the H to a G on purpose or was it a translation thing?
My understanding is that Russian sometimes conflates /h/ with /g/ when transcribing foreign words because the Russian letter that normally makes the /g/ sound is pronounced as something similar to /h/ in Ukrainian (and maybe some dialects of Russian--I'm unclear on this).
