They say that even to this day, on foggy nights near Loch Lomond, one can hear the delicate echo of a train horn tooting a Handelian harpsichord suite that reminds older Scots who hear it of the auld days when their dreams could still come true, while younger Scots hear something like this and start pining for the fjords:
