Summer season is almost upon us, and with it, the premier summer virtual tournament is on the way too. I'm excited to announce that the 2025 vWDC Summer Classic will be held on the weekend of August 1st - August 3rd on the vWDC discord server (link here: https://discord.gg/RpHcskWU)

Seven rounds of virtual diplomacy are available for you to play in following the successful trial of this format in the VDC in January; with best three scores under the Ranked Classic scoring system counting toward the top board (time & date TBC - likely to be the following weekend, but some leeway available depending on who qualifies), and games are capped at a maximum of 1910. This tournament aims to cater to people all around the world with rounds starting at every timezone, so hopefully all of you should have at least 2 rounds at a great time and another couple at reasonable times!

Register by going to [#sc-signups](https://discord.com/channels/768076008955707392/1250210817052250183) and reacting as appropriately - you can play as many or as few rounds as you want! GM volunteers will also be greatly appreciated (contrary to popular opinion, I do occasionally actually sleep).
