The Act of Settlement of 1701 was an Act of the English Parliament, which provided that only a Protestant could succeed to the English (and Irish) throne.

1702 AD On October 12, Sir George Rooke fails in his initial attempt to take Cadiz (he will succeed 11 days later) but captures a Spanish treasure fleet and destroys French and Spanish warships.

There have been 1704 posts on this page. Based on the statistics of the last 30 posts, about 60% of all posts on this forum are year-related. I personally do not like this as it is boring and it is more fun to find a non-history related thing to correspond with the number

This 1705th post disagrees with the 1704th post. Although I do agree history posts can get boring after a while, it is interesting to see that we're having a sort of "forum tells world history chain" on the site.

Plus, you just have to wait 318 posts and we won't be able to do history :)

1705/56 = 30.45. This has no purpose. But this is what it equals lol

Maybe we can just switch to a different calendar then. For exemple in 1706 AUC (ab urbem condita= in the year since the city’s (Rome) founding) Liudolf, duke of Swabia, and his brother-in-law Conrad the Red rebel against King Otto I. Otto and his army fail to capture the cities of Mainz and Augsburg. He declares Liudolf and Conrad as outlaws in absentia. His brother Bruno I, archbishop of Cologne, restores royal authority in Lorraine, but some of the rebellious dukes receive support from the Hungarians. They seize the opportunity to invade Bavaria.

Post 1707 is an intermediary. I feel as though important events should be notated, but not every post.

Lobos 1707 is a tequila brand. Idk why this is important

Jeremiah 17:10
English Standard Version

“I the Lord search the heart
and test the mind,
to give every man according to his ways,
according to the fruit of his deeds.”

A random Bible quote I found when looking up 1710

Following up the bible verse theme

Luke 17:11
"Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee."

There isn't much interesting stuff on [Book] 17:11 except for maybe

1 Chronicles 17:11
"When your days are over and you go to be with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom."

1713 AD

Ottone in villa, the first opera by composer Antonio Vivaldi, is given its initial performance, debuting at the Teatro delle Grazie in Vicenza

1717 is not divisible by 6152739463783. Most numbers are not, however, a notable exception is 6152739463783.

1720 is not my favorite number! However, chances are that it's someone's favorite number.
