1179 AD In the Third Council of the Lateran, Alexander III condemns Waldensians and Cathars as heretics. He also institutes a reformation of clerical life, and papal election in the (vain) hope to prevent future schisms.

King Philip II (Augustus) annuls all loans made by Jews to Christians, and takes a percentage for himself. A year later, he confiscates all Jewish property and expels the Jews from Paris.
1182
Saladin leads an Egyptian expeditionary force from Cairo to Syria. In June, he arrives in Damascus and learns that his nephew Farrukh Shah has raided Galilee, and sacked the villages near Mount Tabor. On his way back, Farrukh Shah attacks the fortress of Habis Jaldak, carved out of the rock above the River Yarmuk. The garrison, Christian Syrians with no great wish to die for the Crusaders, promptly surrenders.
1183
Alexios II Komnenos is murdered after a 3-year reign at Constantinople. The 64-year-old Andronikos I is proclaimed emperor of the Byzantine Empire before the crowd on the terrace of the Church of Christ of the Chalke. He marries Alexios' widow, the 11-year-old Agnes of France, and makes in November a treaty with Venice in which he promised a yearly indemnity as compensation for Venetian losses during the Massacre of the Latins.

Re: The Counting Game
1186 AD After the death of the child-king Baldwin V, his mother succeeds him as Sibylla of Jerusalem and appoints her disfavoured husband Guy de Lusignan king consort. This comes as a shock to Jerusalem's court, who had earlier forced the possible future Queen into promising that she would not appoint him the title should she become so. He will prove next year how useless a cant he is.
1187 AD Crusader forces are defeated in the battle of the Horns of Hattin, mostly due to Guy de Lusignan's arrogance and uselessness as a commander. Jerusalem falls to Saladin.

#1188
Two questions occur to me.
1) How gullible must the people be who take this stuff at face value?
And
2) How can we get them playing Dip (so that we can take their dots)?
I found the above tish & piffle on some silly horoscope website. The Secret Influence of 1188 Number
Angel Number 1188 comes to you as an answer to your prayers and thoughts. The thoughts that have been occupying your mind of late are coming true before your eyes. This number is an indication that great things are coming your way in the near future. The divine realm will finally grant your prayers. Number 1188 will start appearing to you in many places plus during random hours. This is an indication that the messages your guardian angels have for you are important. Some chapters in your life are coming to an end while you welcome others. A new phase of your life is about to begin; therefore, you need to be ready for the same.

Re: The Counting Game
I think we need to play their own game against them... find an angel number that says to try new things, and send that to them, and then a few days later randomly send them messages with links to the site.

At the time of this writing the satellite STARLINK-1189 by SpaceX is currently orbiting the earth just off the south coast of New Zealand. The next city it will cross overhead in its orbit is Chinandega, in Nicaragua. Later it will pass almost directly over Nassau, Bahamas, then go over the Atlantic and pass near Galway, Ireland.

Re: The Counting Game
It is an epic fantasy novel. It takes time to complete a book of this size especially if you are working a regular job too.

1191 AD The Third Crusade named Crusade of the Kings arrives at the Holy Land. It was named so because three Kings were in charge, Richard I the Lionheart of England, Philip II of France and Emperor Frederick I (Barbarossa) of the Holy Roman Empire who had joined the second Crusade too. The latter died in Asia Minor drowning when shining.

1192 AD Conrad of Montferrat (Conrad I), King of Jerusalem, is assassinated in Tyre, only days after his title to the throne is confirmed by election. The killing is carried out by Hashshashin, later the basis of folk etymology for the English word "assassin."

Re: The Counting Game
1193 AD King Richard I the Lionheart, previously imprisoned on his return from the Third Crusade by Leopold V duke of Austria is handed over to Emperor Henry VI and moved to Trifels Castle.
Re: The Counting Game
1194 - King Richard is ransomed for 150,000 marks by Henry VI. This payment would be raised by Richard's mother Eleanor of Aquitane. The full amount of marks would never be payed out to the emperor.
