20 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: If russia and/or england don't show up, should we vote cancel?
20 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Can we remove them from the game, then vote to pause, and see if somebody can come and fill the spots?
20 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: If they don't show up, that is.
20 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't think that we can do anything like that. I say we give them till the end of this turn to show up, if not, we cancel and try again.
23 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: This is less-fun with Russia not actually playing :(
23 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: no fun without russia.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm surprised he gave up. I thought he had an interesting position.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: me too..
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: i guess i was too much of a bully.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I would've worked with him if he had come to me. I had a few plans that would've worked had he come back.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: The happiest opening for Italy ever! A trusting Austrian neighbor!!! Argh! Why do the good times have to be over so soon... Should we cancel and attempt to start a new game?
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I think we sould
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I'd rather not cancel, but it's up to you guys.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: It seems a little unfair for England and France, was my thought.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I mean, I have no complaint with my positioning. I'm sick of people not participating--Russia wasn't even doing poorly! Just tell me what majority says and I'll do it.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Me neither, and I think it was turning into a very intriguing game. I agree 100% on the participation issue, especially after people have invested a lot of diplomatic effort.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Well, here's my argument in favour of not cancelling: 1). it's a small pot game, the points aren't a big enough deal to warrant cancelling over. 2). I don't think russia's thrown the game too far off balance. Sure, he's made it easier for the people attacking him, but just the same, with three people coming after his lands, he wasn't going to last much longer anyhow, and the competition within his lands is still fierce.. 3). we don't know that he's leaving for certain just yet. He missed a turn. that could mean anything. 4). if every game that had a missed turn in it was cancelled, no game on this site would ever be completed.
24 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Sorry guys. I haven't played this for a few years and it just slipped my mind. Looks like im totally screwed now anyway, so only myself to blame. But I'm still happy to make orders and play on for as long as I can!
24 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: No worries Madre Orso Russo! Welcome back, we're glad to have you.
26 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I lost...
