17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: far enough away... in what sense? Since I'm overrunning you I can't say that you could be considered disinterested. Also, in ANOTHER game I didn't stab him but (although I ended up winning) saved him from being eliminated by another player. The point is that every game is different and every position within a game brings new circumstances. The faster players learn that the better off they'll be.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: And italy, while we all would love to learn more from your obvious wisdom, we'd rather you finalized your moves. I've stabbed in games, drawn games, and been stabbed but i've never been petty and made players wait for my orders.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Germany: No, it's not. It's used consistently if and when it works. If stabbing was not working consistently, he wouldn't do it consistently. The failure is on your end.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hey everybody -- do you really want this A-Hole to win? Attack France and we can draw once we eliminate him.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: If I don't win, at this point, I'd like it to be France, yeah. he seems to be earning the win.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: OK, France amd the UK are obviously a multi-account. Tally ho, gentlemen -- attack the Frogs and the Limeys!
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Yes, clearly two people who agree that you're being an idiot are multi-accounts.
Or it could be that stabbing is an integral part of Diplomacy, I always forget which.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I have exposed multis before -- including that lad in Australia.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: And enlitnd99's stench smells familiar.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: It seems like quite a stretch to assume that because I've allied with him in the one game we have together, we must be multis. You seem bitter about the fact that he whooped your butt in the other games you played together.
He might just be a better player than you, no shame in that. It does make allying with him an even better choice for me though, so thanks for helping me realize that.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I have won more games than both you. And as many as you both combined. My strategy is to cull alliances. Not to stab. We just play differently. (I also use one account, e99.)
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: You've won 4 games out of the 37 you've finished, 6 if we count the draws. enlitnd99 has won 3 out of the 5 he's finished, 4 if you count the draws. I don't really see where you're getting this you being better than him from. You just play more.
As for me, I never said I was good. I said he was.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I do play more, and I win more. I joined in November. First game online or ever was August.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: ...You know how percentages work, right? I just want to make sure we're clear on this. Because 60% (that's him) and 11% (that's you, rounded up) are way different. It's not even close actually.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italy, finalize so I don't have to listen to this anymore!
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Yes, I know, e-hole. I played a lot of games when I joined in late 2008, joined a lot of games late too. Asshole.

See my point?
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: The multi-accounter has a manic, schizo need not just to defend himself, but all his other personalities.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: CDs that become losses are still losses. I'm glad I allied with France in this one, I'd hate to be the people on your side.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: If you really think I'm a multi-accounter, inform the moderators. Let me know when they tell you you were wrong.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: The multi-accounter has a manic, schizo need not just to defend himself, but all his other personalities.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: ya... contact the admin. tell him you think i have multi accounts. see what he says. I'd love to hear. And I'm glad i'm going to help england out as well, you're a nut. -- Also, take a math class... i'm better than you. Not only do i have better stats than you, I've also won 2 of the last 2 games we've played together. And i'm doing pretty well in this game. Even if i lose this game, you certainly won't win.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: You excel at a game called STAB, not Diplomacy.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Lying catches up to a person, douchebag.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Dude, go find a "My Little Pony" website to hang out on if what France did bothers you so much.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: France also tried to goad me into attacking the UK:
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: "what else would england be doing with 3 fleets around den???? are you yelling at him? i don't believe he can convoy with that"
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I've got loads of this crap in my messages. He is a big time liar. And again, I have exposed multis before -- including that lad in Australia. And enlitnd99's stench smells familiar.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: ...What else would I be doing with 3 fleets around den? You can't convoy with that, though I didn't know it. Once I couldn't, I might as well stab you, I was guaranteed Denmark.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I agree, lying catches up to a person and this game has lots of karma.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: You can't win without allies has always been my philosophy, so gaining trust is an useful tool. It also helps if you're willing to draw.
18 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I agree, Italy -- your wisdom is pearls before teenage swine.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Take France's builds for example. He's gone lone wolf now. He already has control of the Mediterranean, and neither the Austrians or Turks can challenge his navies, so why build an extra navy in Brest unless he intends to convoy an army from Picardy to Wales. Of course, now that I've said that he will have to rethink his strategy.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: There is debate over the game's "rules," which are meager. It comes down to two philosphies: Negotiate, or stab.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I prefer to build alliances. I could show you a game where I convinced an ally to attack others and we had every little defense against each other on a shared border.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Either way, it calls for what the game is named: Diplomacy. But I prefer more of it, not less. I prefer Diplomacy to be real -- not a ruse, as en99 views it all of the time.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: So i assume you just always tell people before you attack them. You know, because it's more honest... --- dude, give it a rest no one cares what your philosophy is.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: That is not the point moron. Backstabs are to be expected. Going lone wolf like you do is just asking for people to gang up on you.
18 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I agree, Italy. But again, your pearls of wisdom are lost on the mouth-breathing Frenchie........
18 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: i don't know if you two (i.e. the blind leading the blind) noticed but I am working with someone... england. Also, I have worked with others before. The most obvious example is the 17/17 draw i split with Italy when i was playing as Germany. It's not that I hated you Germany or was never sincere with my statements. It's that it made more sense to work with England over you in this game. And not to drag this argument on even more (it is getting a bit ridiculous) but I'm playing in the "spirit of the game" more than you two. If you look in the FAQs of phpDiplomacy it talks about "meta-gamers." You guys are clear examples of that (i.e. "someone in more than one game who lets one of his games influence how he plays in another one"). I'm not. I let each situation within the context of the individual game affect my decisions. So before you continue with how YOU think the game should be played. The website that we're ALL on states that "Meta-gaming is usually frowned on." So get over yourselves and play the game we're in.
19 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I see I was right about the invasion of Britain.
19 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: LOL!
19 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: The UK already indicated to me he knows. I think he likes it up the Wales.
19 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: France sure likes to blab a lot.
19 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: All talk, all stab, no diplomacy.
20 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: All talk, all gone.
20 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: http://www.phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=9347
20 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Like that game???? LOL!!!!
20 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: wow 1 loss. you got my bad. burn. -- btw, here's your stat: Defeated: 18 ( 38% ) -- that stat doesn't even exist yet on my profile. You've played 47 games and won only 4. And you're also such a petty loser that you're threatening to jump in games i'm playing to mess with me. Wow.
22 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1907: I shall return! In the meantime, I will eat crow.
27 Mar 09 UTC Good game germany...
