09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Yes. You mean into the Ionian? But even there, Venice is takeable.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: But so would Naples and maybe one other. I'll have to look later.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Apu-Venice, ADR S. Apu-Ven,Trieste S. Apu-Ven, F Naples-Rome.

Even of there would have been a bounce there, I still had what it takes for the 18th build.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Alright Russia, I will give you one turn to draw, or I will go ftw right now... Last chance.
;)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: And what about the Krispers? ;)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I STILL WANT MY KRISPERS!
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: naples can't be taken!
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: It could have been if Ionian was bounced.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: no, ionian attack tyrr, apulia attacks rome, and naples is defended!
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Thanks for rubbing it in our faces turkey... Although, now we don't have to worry about trying as it is impossible I take it with russias moves as listed.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Either that, or I can take Venice for the 18th, as I'll lose Kiel but get Munich in return.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: You know turkey... You suck.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: France: it's a clearly won game for russia, there's nothing to point out. Also this is full press game, not a gunboat, I can and I'm allowed to comment in any ways.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Still.
You are allowed, but (an I'm not saying That Russia wouldn't have noticed) what if Russia didn't notice those moved were possible... Again, not saying that he wouldn't have.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: he would have noticed, trust me ;)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I know he would have, this game DOES have a 393 point buy in...
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I wouldn't have been able to keep Naples, but my main idea, first, was to take Venice with Apu anyways:
Naples-Rome (breaks support)
Apu-Ven, double support from tri and ADR
Munich taken by Tyrolia triple supported.

There goes the win. Thats actually what I'll do ;)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Yep, even better, as I said, it's a clear win
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Yeah... You win.
Well this sucks.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Yeah, sorry about that, France... But I'll surely give ya that rematch later this year. ;)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I really wanted my 393 d back...
Whatever. And yeah, I'd love to play against you again, maybe a slightly lower pot?
293 sounds about right.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: We shall see in time. As I said, it will only be later this year (most probably this fall? Maybe November?), because it's vacation time, now! = )
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Yeah, pm me when your ready.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: So... What to do for teh next 2 days...
Wanna try to guess who is who?
I forget, was their a list of people in this game on the forum?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Anyone?
Guess its just me then.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: You're Achilles, right?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: What makes ya think that?
And yes...
Was it my sparkling personality?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Hmmm, I already figured out who everyone is two months ago France ;0P
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: And how I'd you do that Russia?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Russia told me ; ). He figured it all out but you were the only one I had a hunch on.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: 'tis my little secret, Achillies ;0)
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: But, yeah, I forgot about losing Munich this year. Sorry guys.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Lol, so it WAS my sparkling personality!
11 Aug 12 UTC Man, da fuq with Austria?
11 Aug 12 UTC Yes, agreed... Well, not that it mattered that much, but yeah... I understand.
11 Aug 12 UTC Yeah, it didn't affect much, but I always play to the end...
11 Aug 12 UTC Totally agreed... Shit happens...
11 Aug 12 UTC Well, Austria's earlier NMRs effected a lot more, then my "help" for russia, so before you blame me again, just think that over a little bit, pls, before you say things like "I suck" (france), or "I disrespect the others" (germany). I don't think, I'm the one to be blamed, who has only "lost" 2 SCs only against russia, below the average loss of SCs/country.
11 Aug 12 UTC God I will love the discussions in that EoG thread.
11 Aug 12 UTC :D, well, I doubt I will participate, I don't think I'll have much to add.
11 Aug 12 UTC Turkey, I never said you suck. I probably would have done the same thing in your position too. All I said was that I disagree with you giving Russia a plan to win at the end...
11 Aug 12 UTC ~Thu 03 PM (To: Global, from France) - Spring, 1910: You know turkey... You suck.
11 Aug 12 UTC I meant that by you told Russia a plan to win. Sorry if it was offensive.
11 Aug 12 UTC Well, that's okay, I mean, that was unsportman like, I admit, and I'm sorry, but it was (is) a clear winning situation, I doubt it made any difference. Especially, ince Russia already had another 100% plan in place.
11 Aug 12 UTC Yeah, it didn't make a difference in the end.
12 Aug 12 UTC Yeah. Since this is in the bag at this point. I'm going to go ahead and say that the AUS NMR was the turning point in the whole game. Russia would not have soloed if that NMR hadn't happened, imo
12 Aug 12 UTC I agree to some extent as I've already discussed with Russia. More so, if I were to project the game forward from that point without the NMR, I'd predict that I would be eliminated and you guys would get a 3WD.
That's not to take anything away from the win though. Even with the NMR it had to be very well played to both get to that point and then secure the win.

It was an interesting game with lots of discuss. I look forward to having another one with you guys again.
12 Aug 12 UTC If i may put in my two cents, I'd say that still after Austria's NMR, the game wasn't over. Sure it didn't help you guys, but at the same time, like I told Germany, I don't know what kind of position I would have had if Germany didn't go and stab me in Kiel to disband that army in the beginning of my solo chase. He stabbed me at that point because he had to since my position was clearly too good with the NMR. But if I didn't get that position, I would of ask for more of a good position before attempting a solo chase, and I had France and him working with me to get that opportunity (well, they had to if they wanted to have a shot at the draw). Germany told me that he would have likely stabbed me, still, if I didn't have that great position due to the NMR, so that would have led to a 3 way most probably, but it would have all depended on his willingness to let me reach that solo position... Germany, you definitely had God-Like powers at that time, deciding how this game would likely end! ;)
12 Aug 12 UTC Well, I have an idea, since it's weekend time still, people may have more time to discuss right now, and since this game will end in 23 hours from now and people likely want to start discussing now, I'll create right now that EoG thread, for those interested.
