03 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Italy: I am officially impressed.
03 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: and same with you, Turkey. Bravo.
03 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I guess Stilton cheese doesn't pair so well with Beaujolais noveau after all... or so says France.
04 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Time will tell.
04 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: France says a lot of things to a lot of people it seems.
04 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: It would seem that so does Italy.
08 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Austria, we hardly knew thee.
08 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Do visit the ol' pub before you go. It's a mighty shame to leave us and not share a cold, Austrian bier with us.
09 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: heh heh heh bier...
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Fucked, I am.
15 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: i missed a turn. its officialy
15 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: But obviously Italy didn't really take advantage of it. Neither did Russia. You = winnar winnar chicken dinnar!
15 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Indeed the less painful missed turn I've ever seen.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: I'm honestly tempted to pull a kamikaze here just so that I'll have the diplopoints available to join another game, but I realize that could only be construed as poor form. So I'm not going to do it.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: we can try to play quickly if you would like :)
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: yes plz k thx
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: By the way, France. Why are you letting Germany get by with the lion's share of builds while you support him? You only have your obvious five, and an army is STILL camped out in bumfuck Portugal.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: I would like to note, that a) you are writing in the public channel, b) you can never be out of diplopoints, if you lose you will immediately get 100 points. No reason to kamikaze, you are not the Japanese ;-)
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: (I think his point was that he wants to lose quicker to get points back as he currently has all 100 invested in games) all's fair in the public channel too :) Though the Portuguese would probably take offense to be referred to as a bumfuck.
17 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Response to a): I know this is the public channel. I think the demise of England, plus the English angst at her empire's crumbling, might make for amusement value to somebody other than solely French audiences.

I also believe that there is occasionally some chance that my plight will be hitherto unnoticed by potential allies in farther corners of the board and that they may suddenly view my situation with some sympathy. Farfetched, but words are characteristically cheap.
