11 Jan 24 UTC GG Italy. We almost stopped you.
11 Jan 24 UTC GG - I think in press I don't get it, but gunboat made the coordination a little too difficult.
11 Jan 24 UTC I migrated to Ukraine like halfway through, saw that Britain was leading at that time, and just assumed they were the threat for most of the time, so I went against Britain and not Italy. I’m an idiot lol.
11 Jan 24 UTC GG Italy well played.
Unfortunately i get almost sweeped by Englishman, so just try to survive last rounds and could put any pressure to Italy
11 Jan 24 UTC Backing up a bit, I took over turkey as a replacement, I could easily see that Italy was a big threat to both Egypt and I, so I simply defended myself. Egypt then ordered two support holds to me as a peace offering, I thought great! So, I shifted to go after Italy, and Egypt instantly betrayed his peace offering, so I spent the rest of the game fighting only Egypt not Italy, and Egypt did the same, always choosing to prioritize his attacks on Turkey, never Italy, so sure, I died, but Egypt died soon thereafter. Had Egypt actually fought Italy instead of Turkey, making good on his peace offering, things would have been vastly different, so Egypt played very poorly and very much enabled an Italian solo. Ukraine did almost the same thing.
11 Jan 24 UTC there was even the real possibility of a joint Turkish/Egyptian stalemate line to stop Italy entirely in the eastern med, but Egypt has no interest in that obviously, he preferred to self-destruct.
