02 Jan 12 UTC	Spring, 1: All right, looks like ill kick off the discussion. ROME, I would like to discuss our opening moves, if not further into the game. Initially, I ask for a NAP and ask you do not move into Punic Sea and I will not move to Ausonian or Tyrrhenean. I ask for Saguntum and Sardinia, but Baleares is up for discussion. Let me know what you think. EGYPT, I do not wish to do battle with you. I ask for DMZ in Sahara and Bayuda. Obviously, Leptis is a disputed center so we need to discuss it. Let me know what you think we should do about that. PERSIA and GREECE, we are not in direct contact as of now, but I would like to work with you if you so wish. If either of you have propositions for me, let me know and it can be discussed. TO ALL, I wish you good luck and a great game.

I would like to keep 1 army in jer and u too 1 army in petra. I will not move to nabatea as u will not move to sinai other troops. let me know your thougts

02 Jan 12 UTC	Spring, 1: Understandable as long as you leave only one unit in either baleares or massila both not both. I will most likely keep a unit in sardinia unless you feel I shouldnt.

PERSIA: your 'reclaim'ing of SINOPE/CHER/CYP is agreeable. I hope you expect nothing more. CARTHAGE: We are still more than a year's distance from direct unit contact. If any conflicts arise, I trust you will be open to negotiations? ROME: I have, as I'm sure the rest have too, noticed your focus on naval strength. I realize we haven't formally opened communications until now, but I hope it's not too late to appeal to you. Establishing the Ionian Sea as a DMZ would be favorable to the both of us, do you not agree? Let me know what you think...
04 Jan 12 UTC	Autumn, 2: Greece: Carthage and I made peace long ago. Egypt is on the other side of the known world. Persia is honoring his alliance, which means he only has one way to grow. The music started almost two years ago and you're just now asking for a partner. Are you really surprised you might be all alone when the dance is over?

Forgive me for thinking 'Public messaging only' is essentially Gunboat with the option of players asking for pauses or negotating draws/cancels.. Also, I appreciate your dance analogy too. Not only is it applicable, but it showcases your wit and cleverness.....
