27 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1902: A quick heads up: I'm flying to San Francisco on Thursday. No need to pause, but I Will time my moves in such a way that I'm not caught with a move required and not near my computer. So, if sometime tomorrow you see me going a long time without finalizing you know why. Good luck, everyone. |
31 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1903: All the best for the new year everyone. |
01 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1903: you as well friend |
05 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Time to take the fight to Germany. Moving Moscow to Liv, will need your support. Its likely that Germany will move Liv to StP and with Fin support, we'll be stalemated for now, but we might as well seal the border now. We should assume that England is in the Med to help Italy. I suggest Apu supports Ven H and Ven and Trieste suport Vie to Tyrol. I'll attack Naples from Tyr. Whould advance us no matter what they do. |
05 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Oh dear...HA |
05 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Turkey, did you notice this is the global forum? Thanks for putting your plans out in the open :) |
05 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: germany, support pie to tyr please, while theyre at it |
06 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Dateline Constantinople: Today the Sultan announced that the Foreign Minister has been sacked. In this country they take such things literally and he was last seen being sewn into a large burlap sack. It is unlikely he will be seen again. Rumors have been flying around this capital that the leaked orders were a complex hoax meant to confuse Europe's leaders. When pressed the Sultan merely commented that his Foreign Minister was a devious man and one would never know what to make of his ditherings, but whether scheme or genuine leak, it embarrassed the personal dignity of the Sultan. He said this right before he ordered a water pipe and a score of dancing girls. |
17 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: That is REALLY strange...I thought the rules explicitly stated that when a country is in Civil Disorder, the unit Furthest from a home centre is eliminated first. In the event that they are equidistant (as are Paris and Gascony, both 2 spaces from Munich) the First Alphabetically goes first. I'm actually a little puzzled here. |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: Well seeing as we are going into 3 way draw I'll let it be known now I am going to let pic - Paris as long as we all agree to the 3 way draw. |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: Fine with that. I'm just confused about Paris blowing up. Do I have the rule wrong? Both Paris and Gascony are 2 spaces from Munich. Gascony comes first in the alphabet. What am I missing? |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: I'm guessing they didn't implement the alphabetic rule -- went random. But post on the boards and see what an admin says. |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: Very odd. They always have in the past. That could really screw someone up... |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: Luckily it helps us. |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1908: England sorry about that move was just to see if I could. Soon as Paris turns pink we press to draw. |
18 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1908: Fine with me. |
19 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1908: Right clicked draw and realised that Germany technically still not out the game. Turkey I hope that was just a little jape before the draw? |
