26 Dec 11 UTC Spring, 2: Just a quick notice to say I've taken over Carthage.
27 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 2: welcome
31 Dec 11 UTC Spring, 4: I'm voting for pause because with New Year's coming up I won't be here until the 2nd. Since I'm out in an hour or so I'd have to vote now.
01 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 4: I'm voting unpause now so we can continue as soon as Carthage returns.
01 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 4: I agree, unpause.
02 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 4: i concur
02 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 4: so it looks like I'm dead, because my Ally Persia is not making moves., no way i can stand up to the alliance of both of you.
03 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 4: I have always maintained that missing a turn forfeits any alliances.
03 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 5: oh, I agree, but now that a rome greek alliance is bearing down on me, there is not much I can do, I'm crushed.
04 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 5: I hope I can squeeze an honerable victory out, but I don't look like it, rome will need to crush me to get 18, and won't stab greece, so It looks like I'm going to loose DP on this one, why did persia have to leave? We could of presented a decent front!
04 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 5: I was hoping you guys could let me off with a draw? I'll put it up, if your feeling generous give me the doubt!
04 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 5: I am easy either way, It is up to Rome. But I am sure he can taste victory now, so i dont like your chances
04 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 6: Any other time I would, genuinely, but I've never actually won a game before. And the fact that this isn't winner takes all means that if I do, it won't be completely one-sided and a jerk move.
05 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 6: Sorry, Rome, but I don't want you to have a victory without really earning it.
05 Jan 12 UTC Wow, impressive. As supportive with movements and offerings of support as Rome has been to greece up to this point, even rejecting Egypt's suggestions of stabbing Greece, and now Greece turning around to stab Rome in the back? Rome will offer Greece one chance to abandon this madness before Rome opts to realign the full weight of its forces against Greece. Should Greece accept this hand in friendship, Rome is willing to halt its advance against Egypt until such time as Greece claims sixteen or seventeen forces of its own so that the final accounting is much stronger in Greece's favor than the present action would result in.
05 Jan 12 UTC Feh, oh fine. Mrs. Rome is now asking Rome to give it up and draw, so Rome can have more time available to spend with Mrs. Rome. Cheers, all.
06 Jan 12 UTC Go Mrs. Rome!
