10 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: Sigh, I forgot we were doing 12 hour rounds |
12 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: Maybe we should cancel this game? |
15 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 5: Cmon Bene, hit the cancel :) Two players left the game, and there is no fun and enjoyment in it. |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: What two players? I only see Carthage gone and if true there's still three left to fight. |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: Carthage and Persia left the game, and it completely lost its balance. Do you like palying it? |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: playing* |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: Carthgae is done as he lost all his centers. Why quit a game when players leave. If you do that, you'll be cancelling most games. Every game I'm in has at least one player quit or miss moves. |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: He lost them because he didn't defend it, and he did nothing when you obtained the west centers. You need to use your diplomatic and tactic skills in order to win, don't you? In this game, we don't. We just use the fact that 2 of 5 players left the game, and take their centers because they don't resist. It's ok when 1 player quit or miss the move in Classic game, but here we have a half of players left! What do we play for? |
16 Dec 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: You seem to forgot that there's still 3 players left that can fight it out. Whether they quit or die out its still a game for someone to win. And whether you do it by dipomatic means or tactics, you still need to win. To me the game is open for any of us to win. I'm always in games where players quit or fail to play well. It seems too many give up as soon as things look bad. I for one stay until I'm either gone or someone has won. If by cancelling now is easier then fighting whose left, why bother to play at all. I enjoy the game whether its 2 playing or 17. |
