08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Marc...you got Rome like you wanted! Now let's get Carthage! |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Unless, of course, Carthage wants to make overtures of Peace to Egypt! |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: What??? Sigh :o) |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Let me change the title. to Rome will rule. hehe |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: crap! carthage!! argh!! |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Not Greece! :D |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: I think Egypt has enough to be worried about, being sandwiched between Persia and Carthage!! |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Does this mean Carthage will make Peace with Rome??? |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: I think that is in the best interest for both for now. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: considering all territories not currently marked by country color are up for grabs, and uncontestable once claimed.. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Alternatively, Rome and Egypt could take care of Carthage jointly |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Egypt bears no ill will towards Persia, they are, after all, on a different continent. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Persia can certainly keep busy with Greece for a while while Rome and Egypt take care of Carthage. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: I am sure that Rome and Greece can reach some kind of mutual accord in the Balkans, perhaps by an equitable split of Vind. and Dal., and perhaps a broader non-aggression pact, maybe even an alliance. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: theres gonna be so many sideways alliances that no one is gonna attack anyone! |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: or Carthage and Egypt can find amicable ground between them and take on the world.. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: What terms would Carthage propose? |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: A demarcation line, formally agreed upon in treaty, to exist until a specified time, for the benefit of both nations survival and prosperity. |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Greece, How about leaving DAL & Illyria neutral? |
08 Dec 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Hmmm. I don't really get anything out of that, while you got a SC uncontested. How about this: we each occupy one of either Vind and Dal, and then we agree to vacate to our previous positions after possession has vested, and leave the Adriatic and Ionian Seas empty? That way, the closest I'll be to you is Sparta/Athens/Illyria/etc., and the closest you'll be to me is Nea./Ven/Apu., etc. We both end up with an extra unit guaranteed, and we will both have ample warning if one decides to go crawfish and shoot the other in the back. |
