20 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Turkey hereby lays claim to Sealand. The English are permitted to hold it in protective custody until our arrival.
20 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Turkey also supports Italy's claim upon Spain, but suggests that Switzerland enter the dominion of France and that Siberia be left to the Russians.
20 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: France claims the Vatican. Just like the good ol' days.
20 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: France rejects the foreign machinations against our Bourbon brethren in Spain. France claims the Crimea and Cappadocia.
21 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: HISTORY II of CLAIMS on NEUTRAL NATIONS:

Por: Claimed by E *** supported by It
Nor: Claimed by E *** supported by It
Spa: Claimed by F & It *** It supported by E & T, G neutral
Syr: Claimed by G *** rejected by It
Cly: Claimed by G, Withdrawn *** rejected by It
Rom: Claimed by F, rejected by It
21 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: I claim Apula, Tuscany, and all other non supply centers on the map. Spread the Brown without hurting others!
21 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Oh hell. When did this unpause?! I meant to change orders!
22 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: England, I'll come back at this statement.

In the meantime I freeze my claim on Spain :)
22 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: doh...look on the bright side, you don't have to worry about a build phase :)
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy declares war on France and Italy.
May we fight with honour.
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy = Austria. Oops
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany remains peaceful to both Italy and Austria and stays open for peace begs from France :-)
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy declares war on itself! :-)
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Civil war!
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: So does that mean that three of the Italian units will be bouncing each other in Apulia? ;)
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: A French NMR, eh? I recommend that we eliminate France and draw in the event of a CD so that it doesn't disrupt the game balance, or what balance there is.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: We should immediately draw and cancel this one. We did so for the last one when there was an NMR. I was Russia, had six centers and solid alliances with almost everyone, and was poised to have a very strong performance, but I ended the game anyway, so I'm not just saying that to get spared from elimination.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'm the same way. Some people are of the opinion that they should still try for the solo but I prefer to simply end the game and start fresh. It's not Diplomacy without a full set of players.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: heh look at england taking the high road all of a sudden. hilarious.

that said, i'm willing to cancel if folks feel france's absence disrupts the game irredeemibly.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: What the hell are you talking about, Russia? I took the high road in the previous edition of this game when I was leading and would have had a wonderful game, and I'm doing the same here.

Don't be a douche.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: quit yo' whining. i clicked CD.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Okay, I'm glad you did, and I thank you for it. I just don't get why you felt the need to take an entirely-uncalled-for shot at me. *shrug*
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: I think it's my declaration of war that scared France. Mwuahaha...
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: GG, all. Always a shame to see 1902 NMRs.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: lol, that's what I was thinking. It only took a move to Pie.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Sorry people, but I see no reason to Draw or Cancel. Play it out I say!
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany, normally, I would agree with you, but appearantly the field is adament to destroy certain players on the board. If I'd discovered any flexibility in play beside two or three countries, personally I never would have chosen these options.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well We all have to vote to cancel and I plan not on doing it.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy declares war on Germany.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Hey, why do it? I have no qualms to you getting the Iberian.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: if you insist I return the favor.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: The reason the game needs to be drawn or cancelled is because some of us don't have access to the free centers that you all do. It gives you unwarranted power and unbalances the game.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yes. I may draw once England is gone. At the very least.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: That is fucking bullshit. Everyone gang tackle Germany until he votes draw or cancel.

You notice how in the previous edition of the game that I voted to draw/cancel even though I could easily have eliminated Turkey before we did so, right? That's because if a game is going to end due to CDs, you end it as it is, period. Why do you want to punish me for France's NMR?

How the fuck do you "not see any reason to draw or cancel"? France QUIT and is giving you a shitload of free centers. That horribly imbalances the game. You're obviously just doing this as a blatant center grab. That's just disgusting.

Notice how Russia, Austria and Italy aren't insisting on KOing Turkey. That's how you're supposed to play it here. It's the only equitable thing to do.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well I guess it's not a bad idea to negotiate on what kind
of draw we want. After all I bet nobody wants to include France I guess? We can have a vote on England, where "included" means you want to split points with E as well and excluded means you don't. Personally I vote to include England in the draw..
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Sorry I hadn't read England's last post. Minus the use of certain terms i completely agree.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: I will draw once France CDs. But not before.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: How does that work point-wise? Do we all get some of his if he cds?
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yes, we split his 7.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Cool. A point then. So you get "worth:..." + 1 for France?
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: If you're agreed to draw after France CDs, then why don't you click Draw now and I'll withdraw my Draw vote? I completely agree that we should wait until France actually CDs (last time Germany came back and voted draw... -___-), but I am concerned that you have a conflict of interest that I would not have, as I have every reason to vote Draw once France CDs whereas you have reason to continue playing.

If you refuse, that's fine, I'll wait on your Draw vote.

And yes, we split the 49-point pot six ways. I think Germany gets 9, being the strongest SCwise, and everyone else gets 8.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: You surrendered I still think you should have died.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Withdraw your vote first to be sure.
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: The point is that the game was broken due to France's quitting. If we'd been discussing, say, a middle game draw, I would have still argued to be included in the draw but fully expecting (and truthfully deserving) to be cut out of it :p
26 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Draw vote's off btw, go ahead and put yours in please
27 Nov 11 UTC http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=73400
I opened this game to restart. I will send you all the password, except for France.
There's a seventh person who PMed me who wants to play also.
27 Nov 11 UTC Oh Christ, ANOTHER 7-way draw.
27 Nov 11 UTC France got in! !@#$! We didn't want that to happen!
27 Nov 11 UTC How did that happen? Does going into civil disorder not actually preclude one from being included in a draw?
28 Nov 11 UTC Next time I'll destroy whatever country CDs before calling the draw...
