05 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Welcome to the ancient world, hombres! |
05 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Hi! I've never played this variant before, I just realized it's year one. Ha |
06 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: If others are troubled by Greece dropping out, my suggestion is that if nobody has signed on to replace Greece by Autumn 02 we rule this game a draw and try again. Unless Carthage doesn't mind sharing that disadvantage with me - I guess you would be the only other country disadvantaged by this. What do you folks think? |
06 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: I also believe that it is fair to draw... Greece has dropped put and Persia missed the last turn. |
06 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: Let's wait till Autumn 02. If Greece hasn't been replaced and Persia is still AWOL, then we can agree to a draw and I'll set up another game with the same name, which everyone can rejoin if they like. Cheers! |
06 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: Morning, Greece here, waiting to be toast. |
06 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1: Welcome back, Greece. If you happen to know Persia, please give him a quick kick in the ass so we can get on with the game. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: Et tu, Rome? This is getting ridiculous. If at the end of this turn we still have no new Persia, and/or Rome is still AWOL, I am definitely voting for a draw. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: By the way, Greece, in case you were wondering, I am planning on making a supported move into Crete. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: I'm here but I agree with a draw. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: Greetings! I am the new Persia |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: Don't believe him, Greece. He's going for Cyprus. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: Hey Carthage, I really think both of us could spend our time more constructively on something other than attacking each other, don't you? |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 2: I like how you bring it up once all your bases are about to be belonging to him. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: Greece! I told you. oh well you did whats right for you. Egypt's busy anyways. How would you like to be friends? |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: Egypt you can easily expel him from your land. With his one army among many fleets, he will have trouble keeping you out of Sahara. I heard the Saharan women are lovely... |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: Egypt I am willing to make peace with you and retreat my army in bayuda from your lands as long as you promise not to take Caesar's advice. |
07 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: But think of the women! You can trust Caesar, he has cool hair and salad. |
08 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: Carthage, if you retreat out of Bayuda and stay clear of Marmarica, then we can talk. |
08 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 3: Also please stay out of the Gulf of Sytris and the Libyan Sea. If you retreat and don't make any threatening moves at the same time, then we can discuss a collaboration. |
