Good game everyone! Was pretty fun playing as Spain. It was pretty unfortunate the Italy was left out since they were a pretty good ally.
I was also prepared to attack Poland in the case he didn't draw. I was going to move my fleets all the way around to the Barents Sea :)

Italy is a tough one in this variant (IMO). It's easy to get to about 10 centers early in the game, but to grow past that you have to commit to a direction, and that leaves you hugely vulnerable on the other side.

Didn't help that France (unusually I think) decided to attack me and Germany instead of just Germany

Congrats to the four survivors though, especially Germany. I'm a bit surprised the other three didn't squeeze you out. Probably could have done so without risking anyone coming close to a solo.
