28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: nicetry has taken over Germany.
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Xyathn has taken over England.
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: I was involved in the "Kill Bill" game where there was a person playing two countries. "Civil Disorder" was done and the person(s) were kicked off. The game is now ruined and those players that were victims of their deceit are left with w f**ked-up game. What now? What compensation? Replacing those players does not change the damage that was done to the game.
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Ursa has taken over Russia.
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Good evening :)
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: keblecol has taken over Turkey.
28 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Welcome.
30 Sep 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: this game has been ruined.
02 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1905: not cool guys ):
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: this is a perfect example of a flaw in the games design
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: i know. I'm at least trying to win even though it is impossible now.
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: I tried too but Ger and I got screwed because of previous Rus and Tur cheating had us eaten away without compensation
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: Quit the moaning please. In this game you can win or lose, and if you can't take losing play another game. Would results be very different if Russia and Turkey had been different players who had an alliance? Besides, Austria is mainly run down by Russia and Italy - Turkey has been weak the whole game.

I now this game can be hard, and esspeccialy for you now, nicetry. I'm sorry for that, but it's all in the game. To comfort you, I expect France will soon attack me :)
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: you are an idiot
02 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: Though I am new to this site I have been playing the board version of this game since the early 70's with some games involving actual "Heads of State" and Bohemian Grovers'. "In this game you can win or lose,"; what? This particular game is not about winning or losing it is about cheating. “Turkey has been weak the whole game”; are you stupid? Russia and Turkey were the same player!!!! That is why they were both booted. If you go back to the starting map and look at the flow in this game you’ll see that having both Turkey and Russia at the start is a significant advantage. In fact, that is why the game was designed the way it was. Think about how this game would work if Turkey and its geographical position didn’t exist. It also makes a big different in strategy and advantage if in being secretly both Turkey and Russia from the beginning when engaging in dialog with the other players.

It was because Germany and I knew from the end of the first moves that something was wrong and how we finally got ‘him’ booted, not only from the game but from the site. The real question is not how YOU feel and act about “winning or losing” it is about what you think of cheating and clearly you can accept a degree of cheating especially as you have reaped the rewards of the act. Unfortunately, this game was originally designed to eliminate cheating and make cheating imposable and the web format has not been able to do the same.

Finally, I continued to play and did not allow my country to CD there is something to say for that
04 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1906: I a (very late) response I must say I was first grieved by your insults and false accusations. Let it be clear to you that I did not enter this game to profit from someone else's cheating. I saw your comments on the forum and decided to join the game to have a new Russian player and to help you somewhat if I could. Turkey as well as I should consider supporting you to get a solid position within the game. That's the least we could do.

Otherwise, you're just victim of the system we're functioning in. That I participe in that system does not mean I approve cheating. Come on, cheaters destroy the meaning of the game. But I have had nothing to do with that while I understand in what way it has influenced the game.

One soluion might be: when all players agree to end the game and get their stakes back we could mail Kestas to end the game and split the points evenly. If not, the game will go on (as in: the show ...)

At last, I must say I am honoured to play with a Diplomacy veteran. I've played the board game only once and you've been in to it for some 40 years. And, last but not least, in some things I might be called an 'idiot' (taking the Greek meaning of the word).

I hope a solution can be found and otherwise we'll meet again in other games.
10 Oct 08 UTC It's over. That's that then.
