20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: This why your shrine require a fire permit.
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: Reminds me of a funny TRUE fact: There is monastary in the Sinai which has a room in which the monks believe is original burning bush of Moses fame.
On the wall outside the door is a fire extinguisher.
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: You know what G Gordon Liddy said when he was holding his hand over the candle.
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: maybe if england submits moves then the last person can unpause? i'm just digging for some theory here
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: First of all, if one of us doesn't unpause, how long does the machine wait before declaring death to the game, how does it adjudicate the final score, and what happens affer that?

20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: GameMaster: Lord Bardington has taken over Austria.
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: He is so lucky to be part of such a lovefest.

20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: But I am such an amateur, I think I would only be a bother to such noblemen as yourself.. and wish to retire from this game, before I make a pigs ear of things..
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: However I don't know how... I really should have read the rules or gone to University first..
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: Your too late, the silk purse already became a pig's rear, and you replaced him. Good luck to in your short tenure as soon to be former head of Austria. TTFN

21 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: I've decided this may be the only way to end this game. I have no idea what is happening, but we feel like we're stuck in some rabbit hole wearing a cute blue and white dress and long blond hair.
21 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: No draw
21 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: why would we draw? we only need 1 move then the games over
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: So that love can see the way.
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: The Tuscan Sheep Herder Collective has been heard from. Rejoice someone who follows the game even after their position has been reduced. You are a rare break my person....errrr my sheep...aweee...
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: Now you see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed.
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: sigh. austria...
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: Ser-Alb
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: hahah. does it matter?
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: Yes, the Sheep Herders' Incentive Taxation plan is only effective with non-violence.
22 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1910: I went through the map quick.. and I was on lucid medication right up to 1905 when France entered Greece. Honestly it's good that the Italians have but a small commune.
23 Oct 08 UTC GameMaster: Halleralle has taken over Austria.
23 Oct 08 UTC OK this is one of the more strange things. Halleralle please introduce yourself and
it would be most interesting to hear your motivation to spend 18 game points to take over a country with no units on the board, an occupied last supply center, with no hope of recovery, and an eminent 18+ center win on the next move, all of which and then come in and not write to anyone? At the very least you should be writing to France who is sitting on your only center.
I do not mean to sound harsh but this is so odd that I just do not understand it.
If you are a new player and want to get into a game in progress, why this game and not so many others which have an extensive and challenging position to play.
23 Oct 08 UTC He's one of us!
23 Oct 08 UTC One of us whats?
23 Oct 08 UTC And he was heard to exclaim as he rode out of sight,
merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
That's all folks. Good luck to everyone still alive and to some of those who are still dead.
