Game drawn
05 May 11 UTC Spring, 1907: *followed
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yes, we are very close to the 2-way draw. ;)
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: A 2-way draw would put the fun back into this game. ;)
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: England and Turkey?
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Why not Italy and Germany/
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Travtrav, did you lose a bet or are you just in the habit of donating money to players who have more than you do?
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: My thought exactly...
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I wasn't paying attention and just joined a random game
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Bummer... well, I'm happy to take about 14 more points. Thank you :)
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: its good i just tied 3rd for another game
08 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Well, now you know what happens with random. How does one even know he tied for 3rd/?asked the guy who tied for 7th.
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: there were only 3 countries left and we all drew
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: That means you had a 3 way draw. In this game, you will end up in 4th. I'm proud to say tha tmy brilliant play and dip skills combined with the slimey scum suckers in austria and France screwing me over for no reason in particular enabled me to be first out. Shows how a player with a dynomite GR, can really bite the big one.
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: BSEM, I can think of 15,193 good reasons to screw you, even if not in a nice Versachi number with Stilettos :)
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: That's what I'm talking about. Which only goes to prove the following. When you give a Russian plyer Viagra, he just gets taller.
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: But a good game. Still, confused why anyone wouldhave taken over Turkey.
09 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: In the old days, we used to have a borsh game where we started with 100 rubles, pounds, lira, dracma, marks etc and traded currency. As a country was eliminated, currency was worth nothing. Were we playing, right now, I'd be buying Francs and Rubles.
11 May 11 UTC Spring, 1908: Musical chairs continues :)
11 May 11 UTC Spring, 1908: Why would anyone take over Turkey - AGAIN?
11 May 11 UTC Spring, 1908: wow
11 May 11 UTC Spring, 1908: it was cheap?
11 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: 44 more points... this is crazy.
11 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: I would have been happpy to let them have Italy for half that.
11 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: In light of this unexpected influx of points, perhaps you can all cut in your dear old english friend for the pot, eh chaps? :-)
11 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: Wait, England has friends?
11 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: As he goes from 4 to 2 or 1.
12 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: He's fought a valiant fight. Not worth 350 points, though.
12 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: I faught a valiant fight! why not just give me a hundred points.
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: And the game will end before the decade is through.
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: A bold prediction :) , my French friend. I guess it only took me seven pieces to finally deal with England's four fleets.
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: Kind of wishing that the new people donating points through Turkey wouldn't hold up the game...
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: I wish they would leave and make room for someone else to donate points :)
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: Why don't they just set up a paypal point account and give it directly?
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: It would be faster than hitting save and waiting 36 hours to order a destroy of one unit.
13 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: I never understand slow play for no reason at all.
14 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: It makes sense sometimes- sometimes there are reasons to just hit save and slow down the game- or you have lots of negotiations going on. I doubt Turkey has much to think about right now, though.
14 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yes, I understand slowing it down for a purpose such as you are out of town and need to delay the cycle. Maybe you want to turn someone and want as much time as possible. But the moron turkeys are just wasting time. I hope you notices how quickly I died.
14 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: yep. Professional. (well, actually, we noticed how well you orchestrated that mess in Germany that almost meant that you didn't die - but when it was all over, you are right, no delays)
14 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: I"m feeling the love.
14 May 11 UTC Spring, 1909: Good of England to help end this. If there was going to be a stab, surely it would have occurred by now.
14 May 11 UTC Spring, 1909: Well, my green ghost regiments have been in place throughout Europe. I am about to give the signal which will return Europe to its rightful ruler, Pope Secola.
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I think end-phase stabs are rare in PPSC, this is why I don't like this type of game too much.
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I don't know...In my last three games, I've been in this (no stab), a 17 17 that turned into a 16 18 in the last turn (Idiot Indy), and a PPSC where I was stabbed in the mid-game.
Plenty of stabbing for me, I'm well ventilated :)
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Yes, but there is almost no meaning for 16-18. The amount of points does not change, and it only affects GR slightly.
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I guess it depends on what has value to each person.

Points don't change significantly, I grant that.
Don't know about GR, have to accept your word on that.
However, it does affect the win/draw ratio (which some, including me, care about).
And perhaps most importantly, in my small mind, an 18 16 or a 17 17 is a "win", a 16 18 is a "loss". I think I have roughly 1/3 18-16 or 17-17; take care of those and the GR and points take care of themselves :)
So for me, great loss in value.
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Good game guys! Well executed
16 May 11 UTC Nice job Russia, Austria.
16 May 11 UTC A pleasure. Had Italy not united the four tribes, the three of us might have fought to the bitter death, but the necessary alliance lasted the remainder of the game.

Good game, all.
16 May 11 UTC So my evil ways have been discovered.
16 May 11 UTC Good game.
