10 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Ho Ho, very clever. : )
I'll admit I had to google Queen Victoria before I had any idea what you were talking about.
15 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1902: Hello juggernaut.
18 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Citizens of the Italian and Austrian empires, exhausted by infighting and despairing of their own militaries' ability to protect them, stage protests across central Europe calling on their governments to form a coherent strategic response to the situation.
21 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Wrong.

Citizen of Italy are protesting against the folly of its own government, in launching a suicide-attack on Austria in S01

Citizens of Austria are demonstrating for the immediate annihilation of what is the blasphemy and anomaly that is known by the name of "Kingdom of Italy"

22 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: What are you nuts? You're basically throwing the game to Russia!
24 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1903: This is the first time that I have seen a convoy to switch places actually work!
02 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sorry everybody about that. I had a bit of a family crisis to deal with the past couple days, and I to be honest just forgot what time the deadline was. Fortunately it seems like everything should be fine from here on out.
03 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sorry to hear that / glad to hear the outcome
16 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I will be needing a couple pauses in the next week or so, if that's okay with everybody. I won't have access to a computer during the Passover holiday.
16 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: Also I will not be available for discussion until Saturday night.
16 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: Certainly, Just let me know when you want to pause.
18 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1907: I put my pause vote in. My unavailable time is tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I'll be free again Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, and then unavailable again Sunday night through Tuesday. Thanks!
18 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1907: I'll agree to pause, but I would want a commitment in advance from everyone that we'd be unpaused 5/1/2011

I've just been burned before by stuff like non-unpausers and it's very uncool
18 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1907: I agree
18 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, the mods will force an unpause now. You don't have to worry about that.
19 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1907: Agreed. I will vote unpause long before then.
20 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Sorry guys, seems I missed out on the Pause Request! Anyhow, I ask all players to Unpause immediately, so Italy can Unpause the game whenever he returns!
21 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: You people! Wake up! Russia has 14 SCs and is about to get two more off me without Austria's help. France, England, stop playing around with each other and stop the Russian onslaught.
21 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Should have been 'Yo! People!'
22 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Austria doesn't seem interested in stopping Russia from winning.
22 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Actually, I can see his point of view as he has two builds on the front line now.
22 Apr 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: On the other hand he could have taken Rumania unopposed and gotten builds that way.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: i see no victory in the near future, there will surely be good russian soldiers lost in the coming years, and i owe it to my people to continue to lead them forward.

I have secured the southern front, but it is the north that will make gains, the cycle of france rises again, at this peak of russian power.

my people are proud, and persistent, they want no part of draw, and they'd rather taste death 100 times over. this is our creed, and perhaps we shall perish, but it is our way.

the day is young, and we fight. we fight and we will die... take heed of this advice, never give up, and if it is a draw you seek, then bury the dagger deep in the russian heart, because we will have no part in it.... but do keep an eye on your back, because certainly nothing here is as constant as change, and killing the lion will do nothing more than give way to the tiger.

Czar Ox, son of Solid
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Then dare you not meet us in the field ? Why postpone the inevitable , by not finalizing? ;)
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: When France starts to take Russian SCs and Russia can move no further in the south, methinks Russia's tune will change.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I'll meet you and kill you, as many of you as I can... postpose you say? There is no honor in a draw, honor only lies in victory and in death.

Turkey, you are half mad, the other half dense. France at least has my respect. I shall smile deeply when you fall.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: LOL! You think I shall fall? Austria knows that stabbing me would give you the win. France and England know that as well. No one wants you to win as strong second gets nothing in WTA. And don't be fooled by the lack of color. I still have 5 SCs, the same as Austria and more than England.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Your offer of draw mocks the memory of your former people who's children now serve me. Do not weep for them, lest you wake the wrath of their ghosts.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Many of my country men fled with me to Bulgaria, Greece, and Naples and have discovered that the Greeks aren't as bad as they once thought. We Turks can get along when the food is good. If only we could get the Vatican to see us as people... Oh well, at least we own the Pope now.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: But coem on and finalize. There is no reason to stall. No one is going to work with you. You are too close to 18 and this group is too smart.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Oh you think I am just postpoing the inevitable? No, you mistake me. I WILL fall, I see no stalemate... I cannot hold my ground... I have 16 centers, I will have 13 before the morrow, and even less the next morrow, see that, realize that... I am strong, but I am also week. We are more evenly matched than you think.

We started with 7, now we are at 5, 5! Are you so craven to continue?

When I am cut from giant to man, I will once again been seen AS a man. And 5 men will do what men do.

You cower before a false giant. Open your eyes, it is not yet noon, there is pleanty more blood to spill.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Uh huh. Double speak and self-deprication will not get us to lower our guard. If you truly felt you would fall, then you would take the draw now.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I need prove you nothing scum!
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: No proof needed. The obviousness of the situation speaks for itself.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: And I know these other players. They are skilled. You have a defeat and a draw to your record. You haven't won a game. You've been crushed or lucked out to get the draw. Perry, on the other hand, is one of the better players here and Joey and coffeebean have records that speak for themselves as well with as many wins as I have. Your best hope for survival is to draw now.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: My game history:
Draw= game with cheater in it (draw forced by mods)
Defeat = gunboat (different kind of game)
This game= my inaugural true game (I shall see it through)

Your best chancefor survival = Draw, (with no home centers to your name) that is why you whine and pleed

I know of Perrys skill, and the others... in fact you pleeded to me to join with you againt the "skilled" Perry who had embarrsed you in your League game, and had "easily handeled you"

The only thing obvious is your death and my refusal to conceed. There will be an end to this game, and I promise that you will not be part of it.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well, that was before I saw to Perry's elimination and my eventual solo in Game 2 of League B1.

And who was cheating in "Babak's WTA game"? Certainly not Babak.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Oh man! You just lied in the global chat! No mod forced that draw! I read down the messages and you all *voted* for it. All the mod did was pause the game and ban the cheater. You wusses gave into someone's whining because they were in a bad position, but there was no multiing in that game. The cheater was caught cheating in another game so got banned. You should have played on.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Russia is a *liar*!
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Grasping for straws little man, as you yourself recalled earlier the mods didn't always force unpauses

After the cheater was found the mods "Forced the Pause". The mods would not "Force the unpause" however.

The player who had been hindered most by the cheaters refused to unpaused. At that point the game was unplayable, and I was unable to get the mods to resume it. I responded to that scenario the way I did. I was unpleased with my experience at this site, and I explained this all throughly in my posting history.

Should this game be forced paused by the mods (due to cheating), And should they refuse to unpause, then I yes wil draw... You may not want to get your hopes up too high though... no mods will be saving you
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: You could have gotten then mods to forcibly unpause. Refusing to unpause is against the rules and the mods will intervine.
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: But are you really going to make us wait a whole additional day?
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Oh how I wish I had had your sage councel then! C'est la vie.

Hmm, you're taking about the turn at present? I was still deciding... I'll take another gander though. Ohh decisions decisions....
05 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: You only have three options. A Mos, A War, or postpone build.
06 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: the problem with having three options, is that you cant flip a coin , to decide
08 May 11 UTC Gg
08 May 11 UTC Told ya he'd draw when France started making progress on him.
08 May 11 UTC Intriguing!
Still, I'm happy to have recovered a 1sc Austria to a 5sc Austria!
Longterm , if the anti-R alliance would have held, I think I and France both had decent positions!
08 May 11 UTC Good game all. Russia really controlled this game from start to finish - I thought you had it for sure, but somehow the rest of us managed to pull together just in the nick of time.
08 May 11 UTC Both England and Turkey makes it to the Draw w/o any Home SCs of their own. Well done!
