15 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1960: First play on Cold War! Looks fun! Good luck! |
18 Aug 22 UTC | Autumn, 1962: It’s a laugh for sure |
18 Aug 22 UTC | Autumn, 1962: well I seem to be folding under pressure |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Autumn, 1962: it is interesting because i think the country you are actually impacts the approach you take (land vs sea) Just in my opinion |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1963: yeah. I've played a few more games and so far NATO's won every time. |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1963: NATO is strong in the sea, and as USSR you want to fight that but then you lose army battles |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1963: AGH! You played smart in Central and South America! ugh... that's disappointing. Didn't see that move coming |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1963: expected you to go for pan or col. didnt see the ven move coming |
19 Aug 22 UTC | Spring, 1963: more pleased with my sea of japan move :) |
19 Aug 22 UTC | that was quite big brain |
19 Aug 22 UTC | the Ven move was because I knew I couldn't hold Panama. You'd move in either with EPac or have Mexico go to Central America and force me out in fall. By going to Ven, I can move to Brazil which means I avoid a loss in Panama. Should I gain a build elsewhere, I can build another fleet and then hold out maybe. |
19 Aug 22 UTC | ahhh fair enough |
20 Aug 22 UTC | GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
20 Aug 22 UTC | agh! I missed it! Shoot, sorry |
