26 Nov 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Ghana]:As have I, F-A. Very nice people all around, I have to say. :-) |
26 Nov 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:In that case you must've been in Brabant, or Groningen ;) Is it quite common for Americans and/or Canadians to make a 'Eurotrip'? I imagine you guys visited several European cities and countries. Amirite? |
26 Nov 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Ghana]:For Americans a European trip isn't all that common, really, but in our defense, the US is very, very, large. In fact, for me to travel to California from my location in NJ is about the distance from Lisboa to Moscow, so obviously even when we do travel it's a lot harder to leave our borders. Canada is even bigger, of course, but I feel that a European trip may be more common for them due to greater historical ties? Our Quebecois friend can speak to that better than I. As for me, I was actually there for a High School trip to the Model UN in The Hague, with a couple additional days in Amsterdam, and then an extra week of side trip to London. |
28 Nov 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:mainly Utrecht -) |
28 Nov 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Russia]:Yeah, people make a 'Eurotrip' out to be a big deal, but it does cost a lot of money, and only the upper class can afford a two week vacation around Europe. Most American students are now leaning towards working during the summer, but there is a push for more charitable acts, such as building houses for the homeless. |
01 Dec 10 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:sounds commendable. For me in EU = Paintings(Museums), else I prefer the Country life !! |
06 Dec 10 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:USA, we're waiting on you. This game is going to take a loooong while. |
06 Dec 10 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Ghana]:He was last seen 10 days ago. He's going to time out and go into disorder. |
06 Dec 10 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:a lot of Quebecers spend their winters in FL ! LOL _ |
06 Dec 10 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:He's not going to be the last. I hope we'll get this game done before the end of the world (2012). |
