09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Best of luck to one and all!
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all!
To Austria: I hope we can get along well.
To France: How about keeping the Western Med neutral for a few years?
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi all and good luck!
My first public messaging game - what am I to expect? A lot of bounces?
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Oh and @T: If A and F accept Italy's proposal, I guess you will be in trouble :-p
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck all!
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello everyone - good luck to all! Turkey is excited with this new game.

Russia and Austria; sharing the Balkan is better than fighting over it. Turkey is an ally worth your trust!
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Sharing is nice - but how would the share look like? And I hope a share will include a DMZ in BLA, will it?
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: To Russia and Austria: If you split up the Balkans with Turkey, Turkey will have little else to expand but through you.
To Turkey: This is not to say that we could not be allies however.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy: in Diplomacy, often a far friend is better than a close friend. Turkey likes the Eastern Mediterranean waters for swimming and recreational purposes and therefore closely guards it.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy: in Diplomacy, often a far friend is better than a close friend. Turkey likes the Eastern Mediterranean waters for swimming and recreational purposes and therefore closely guards it.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Russia; a Black Sea DMZ is negotiable. But what do you suggest I do with my fleet instead? Stated otherwise, let's talk business.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Austria: Turkey would love to hear your ideas on the Balkan.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Rather true, the long distance alliances have great power. I will ask the North African brigades to join me! They are farest away from my homeland (counting the moves to get any unit to this place).
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: T: well you said you'd love to swim in the eastern Meds - so I guess your fleet could have some fun there. But if you prefer the bounce, I can agree on that. Will make Rum an easy gain for Austria and thus Bul an ideal target for Austrias future, don't you think?
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Fair point - okay you have convinced me. Let's keep Bla DMZed. Besides, I do not want to invoke the wrath of the North African brigades.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: To Turkey: You can swim around in the eastern med for all I care. If you stay out of the Ionian and I stay out of the Eastern Med and Aegean, then we could make a great team. Perhaps an Italo-Russo-Turkish alliance could be in order.
09 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Sounds great.
10 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: France: As a gesture of peace, I will stay out of Burgundy.
10 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Germany: Awesome, thanks. I will do likewise.
Germany, England, Austria: If there is in fact a Italo-Russo-Turkish alliance in the offing, then the rest of us need to stand firm together against it. I don't particularly like playing with grand coalitions like that, but we won't have a choice.
Italy, if you want to keep the western Med clear, I will need to see evidence that you are not participating in this Unholy Juggernaut Plus Italy Alliance. Or does Italy, for one, welcome our new Russian overlords?
England, I am personally of the opinion that our two countries are natural enemies, but in light of the stated intentions of Russia, Turkey, and Italy, you will be needed to hold the north and I the south while Germany and Austria hold the center. I therefore propose that we demilitarize the English Channel and the Irish Sea for the time being. As far as I am concerned, you are welcome to Belgium.
10 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: To France: I do not have any intention at this time of sailing west. I would rather have a Turkey contained by the Ionian and Russia that is going north than a strong Austria (no offense Austria, but you know how it is). That said, I can do little to stop Russia anyway and Russia can do little to me without Austria or Turkey completely stepping off to the side. For now I intend to take over a few neutrals (Tunis and maybe Greece) and see how the cards lay in about a year. I encourage you to do the same in Iberia so that perhaps we can both benefit from the peace.
