24 Mar 22 UTC | This was a very frustrating game. Since at least 2001, it has been clear that the players needed to unite to stop a Russian solo. Yet France continued its attacks on England until the end of 2003. I wanted to message France as much as I have ever wanted to message another player. A 6 nation draw would not have been entirely satisfying, but it is better than giving up the solo. @France - If you care to provide any accounting of your thinking, I would love to hear it. @England - I am sure you were even more frustrated than I was. @Turkey - I enjoyed our battle while it lasted, but obviously Russia's dominance forced me to switch to support holding you before we could fully resolve things. @Egypt - Thanks for your efforts to do your part to stop the solo. @Russia - You played very well and certainly took full advantage of Poland and Ukraine early, and France later. Congrats on the solo. Just don't forget to send France a Christmas card this year. |
24 Mar 22 UTC | Well played Italy and England in particular, same thoughts as Italy re france not sure what the logic was Gg all, congrats Russia, and Turkey thanks for teaching me a lesson on holding in there haha Hope everyone is safe and well! |
24 Mar 22 UTC | I guess I have to apologize to everyone except Russia. I realized Russia's position late, since I joined in the middle of the game. By the time I realized it, I guess I was too late. I must say that besides the lack of concentration, I am still a beginner. Thank you everyone for this instructive game. |
24 Mar 22 UTC | @France - No need to apologize. Sorry if I was rude or overly harsh. Games with no messaging can be frustrating when you badly want to communicate something to another player, and I'd been wanting to ask you to stop attacking England for a while now. I guess I had to get that off my chest. Better luck in your next game! |
24 Mar 22 UTC | Hi guys, yes I tried to make friends with France early on to unite against Russia. Thanks for the explanation France. Congratulations Russia. |
24 Mar 22 UTC | Good game all, and I was a bit worried at the end you would hold strong england and France but it’s hard to defend that much of a line with two countries needing to work together. Italy I thought you could maybe be more aggressive but you also played a very good game. Turkey sorry for stabbing you, it was a great relationship but I saw my chance and I took it. I only wish I took the solo not as Russia for obvious reasons… Ofherwise great game all, really enjoy a good modern map GB |
24 Mar 22 UTC | i joined to help by holding my unit |
