29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:How much time do we play this match, how do you think? Year or a less? |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Argentina]:hello everybody! I no one gives up, less than a year, I think |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [USA]:Usually a month or two at most. |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [USA]:Oh... didn't see the phase length. Well. Around a year, then. |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Russia]:Hope no one backs out. : T |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Well, this game will take long. If someone backs out...it will be 9 days for each turn! |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [China]:Good Luck all. I will not back out. Even if I am getting my butt kicked. I play until I have destroyed my last unit. I would like to make it past a couple turns. Hope I can make some friends. |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:Hey, if anyone decides to back out, just go ahead and leave so we don't have to wait on you... O_o |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:=D |
29 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:I made the phase length long mostly because of my busy life. I'm glad I got Brazil. Green is my favorite color. =D |
30 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:I'm in another 10-day turn game, and I can tell you it gets excruciatingly painful having to wait for turns to be finalized... and then I found Zen :-) Hopefully everyone has a good game. (except my enemies) K |
30 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Russia]:Whats the objective for this? In diplomacy standard (europe), the goal is to capture 18 supply centres. is it the same here? |
30 Sep 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Europe]:You need more than half of the centers, so it's 44 or so, I think. |
01 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Come on China and Oz! :) |
01 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:And ready your orders when they're in, people! :) |
03 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:It seems this game will last forever :) |
03 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Russia]:Why'd you join China and Oz -.- |
03 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [China]:Look everyone, If you notice OZ has not been here at all. Last seen 7 day and 13 hours ago. More then likely this is his first game. Notice he has 90 and it took 10 to join. This game was originally scheduled to start on Monday. Maybe he didn't know that if it fill up sooner it would start. RELAX. If you didn't what to wait why join a 10 day phase. I mean serious if your in a hurry don't join slower games. I am still in Negociations with other players. I have not even decided which way I want to move yet. It is that simple. No amout of you trying to rush me will get me to enter my orders any quicker. Not to mention clicking ready. I will make you this promise. If I get on and everyone else, EVERYONE, has put in orders and clicked ready I will do it then. Until then I guess your waiting on OZ because I still have 5 days left and If he should never show up. We all have 5 days left to wait either way. So I would suggest to get comfortable and relax this might take awhile. |
04 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:Like I said, a state of zen-like acceptance of the speed of the game helps. Speed - is not always the best policy. We signed up for long terms, and they help, espc. if you have to be away from an internet connection for a few days. |
04 Oct 10 UTC | Spring, 2000: [USA]:Yes. |
