08 Jan 22 UTC Well played guys - I was too greedy, too soon and should have let Rome alone.

Greece - after we'd combined well up to S'05, I understood why you took Crete in A'05, but it was very annoying. I kept breaking Cilician supports for you to show that. However, you kept damned well trying to snipe stuff. I'd advise not doing that in future in a gunboat game. If I hadn't been dragged off to hospital I would not have moved to Mauretania and given Rome reason to loosen the vice on you.
08 Jan 22 UTC Good game, all. I learned a valuable lesson not to over extend myself early out of greed. I made enemies to the north and south, and you made quick work of me!
09 Jan 22 UTC Great game everyone. I agree, Egypt, you should’ve let me alone! :-)

I’m glad Greece and I were able to cooperate and de-escalate just in time to stop Egypt from getting the solo
09 Jan 22 UTC Gg all! Thanks for the advice Egypt. I agree that it is a bad idea to break a working cooperation in gunboat. I felt the pressure though and was in need of that extra center. After that I did not go against you though. This map is a bit special since there are only five players. Even if you are allies you are bound to fight at some point since it is either a solo or a three draw.

Rome, very glad we could join against Egypt in time.
