Good game everyone. Curious if I could have pushed on for a solo. Of course I would have played the last two turns differently and taken some from Quebec. But I appreciate a solid game long alliance and I just couldn’t bring myself to stab. Probably a solo would have been very hard although the Cuba attack on Florida was helpful. I am guessing cubas hope was a three way draw not 4 way. But I was mildly nervous of Cuba getting too strong and so I made moves to prevent that (probably made people a little nervous but it was just to be sure defensively really). I though Texas over reached taking on me and Cuba around the same time - but was always going to have trouble stuck in the middle. Thanks again |

You and Tex both attacked me in autumn 05. Not sure how I took you both on by trying to defend my position. |

congratulation! |

Ugh, what a game. I'm thinking I should have bottled up instead of going for Texas. At that time I felt he was unopposed. Also Quebec, you're a backstabbing basterd. |

Me. The fifteenth earl of Cambridge. A man of my reputation - a backstabbing bastard? You cur, you cad. Pistols at dawn. |

Strange game - lots of people voting draw very early. |

" I appreciate a solid game long alliance " and " Also Quebec, you're a backstabbing basterd" seem like unusual statements to be made in a game advertised as having Anonymous players and No messaging... |

There are ways to send messages through orders or simply not attacking or threatening someone else. For instance, Quebec put a support hold order on one of my units a few times, a general indication of peaceful intentions. Only to stab or try to stab me a few times afterward. |

We did have a good alliance between me and Cuba, I appreciated that. |

The throwaway support hold orders followed by the dagger is classic gunboat communication |

"The throwaway support hold orders followed by the dagger is classic gunboat communication" - Thanks for the info. Did not know that and will use it in the future. |
