27 Oct 21 UTC | gg I can't believe how long Persia and Egypt fought before seeing the solo. |
27 Oct 21 UTC | gg all |
27 Oct 21 UTC | Congrats Rome. |
28 Oct 21 UTC | Much respect to Carthage for battling all the way down. I was also surprised Persia and Egypt kept going. Good game all. |
28 Oct 21 UTC | You mean you can’t believe how long Egypt continued to ignore Rome and attack me to throw the solo to Rome? |
28 Oct 21 UTC | I think everyone saw the solo threat year ago except Egypt. Well done Rome for taking advantage. |
28 Oct 21 UTC | To be completely fair you kept taking my centers so I was tryna defend them and thought you didnt see the rome threat so I just gave Rome the win |
28 Oct 21 UTC | I think you will probably find I took Jerusalem in spring 6 after you had taken Cyprus 2 years earlier (and after I couldn’t have had a more friendly opening). I believe that is the only SC I took from you in exchange. Then from year 6 onwards. I very clearly signalled an intent to move north. Convoying an army away from you to Miletus and so on. Because, yes the time threat was obvious. Always a shame when someone “throws” a game when there is an obvious and easy draw. But hey. Take all sorts in the world I suppose. Maybe look tho at the sequence of events and hopefully in some future game you might choose a different path. |
