16 Oct 21 UTC | Spring, 1997: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
16 Nov 21 UTC | Gg all!!! That was quite an intense match! |
17 Nov 21 UTC | Gg! Germany, I really liked our alliance and I am sorry I moved against you in the end. I just did not see any possibilities to advance in the south so a draw became the best option. |
17 Nov 21 UTC | I got to say France I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to seal you off in time. Was definitely cutting it close! |
17 Nov 21 UTC | I agree. Around 2003/2004 I thought I would be able to make a breakthrough. I did not have a lack of fleets but rather of space to put them... |
17 Nov 21 UTC | I thought I was dead for all the setbacks I had while fighting Egypt and keeping my border secure. Honestly I was expecting to loose quickly after I saw I got Turkey this game. I’ve barely played this variant and it’s a bit intense with so many neighbors. |
17 Nov 21 UTC | Turkey matches can be really crazy. It's often just up to whether or not Ukraine and Russia attack you, since you can't really defend well on 2 fronts. |
17 Nov 21 UTC | Thanks for the game everyone. To France - we worked well together. I think we could have reduced the draw to 3 if you had held off but I may have been tempted to go for solo so you perhaps did the right thing. |
18 Nov 21 UTC | Exactly my thoughts, it would have been nice to reduce the draw but it would have meant that you would have come closer to the solo. Next time I will be braver. |
