27 Apr 21 UTC Spring, 1902: I mean at least it looks like they fixed the CERT issue and we may be back online soon!
27 Apr 21 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
28 Apr 21 UTC Spring, 1902: Finally, here we go
28 Apr 21 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
28 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: new france here, gamers rise up
28 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: welcome new france!!
28 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: obviously i'm in a pretty perfect position here, so if anyone is looking for a strong ally, i'm your guy
28 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Dude, if we weren't on opposite sides of the board, I would totally take you up on that
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy is such a difficult country to play by
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yeah, it is. It unfortunately has the lowest win percentage by top players, sitting at around 11%
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: I personally think Austria is the worst to play because you're almost 100% reliant on a failure of a juggernaut, but Italy is probably harder to get into a winning position
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well, I would agree, because Austria is surrounded by 4 countries
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey is the best country to play with
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Very convenient
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey is incredibly defensive for sure, but the second that russia gets into the black sea, your game ends
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: France actually has the highest win percentage, as the only way they lose early on is if there is a G/E and italy decides to completely ignore austria
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Austria is weak in the early stages of the game, but if they get to 6-7 dots, they are SUPER powerful
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: I find a lot of it also depends on playstyle, some countries play better for some people
29 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
30 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany put ready please
30 Apr 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: I was waiting to hear back from comms from the players who were not here.
01 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: orders are in but im not readying because I'm going to NH tonight and I can't guarantee being able to input my orders for next turn if it advances now.

Apologies to people who want this to go faster!
01 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1902: Dude, as long as the game moves eventually, I am not complaining
02 May 21 UTC Spring, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
03 May 21 UTC Spring, 1903: :(

14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: What a depressing global chat
14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: Indeed, this gamemaster is brutal!
14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: 2 delays are nice so you can hit a delay if people aren't getting back to you but its so brutal when people miss both, since it's effectively 3 day turns
14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: Yeah I was excited about this move like a few days ago and now I forgot that this game is happening. I find when people delay I get bored and join more games, and then pay less attention to each one. I would much prefer fewer games I could focus on while having the fewer delays.
14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: russia is in im readying up!
14 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: My bad guys, work has been rough these past few days. We should be good though
15 May 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: no worries! As long as you get it in
29 May 21 UTC Spring, 1908: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
29 May 21 UTC Spring, 1908: sry
29 May 21 UTC Spring, 1908: all good!
31 May 21 UTC Hey everyone, I propose that we draw the game here, as I don't think there's any benefit to cutting out England and Turkey at this point. Currently, the total worth of our points is 37 (13+13+9+1+1) of the 35 point pot, with England and Turkey both at 1 point. Taking away their last centres won't increase any of our scores unless the balance between the 3 major powers shifts, as those points will just be eleminated, leaving us with the same 13/13/9 split. Since Austria and Germany are tied for first and I hold a solid third place, I don't think it makes sense to rebalance our alliance. What do you think?
31 May 21 UTC I think it would be nice to have a central powers alliance as the last remaining on the board but it can be up to you I guess. The perfectionist in me wants this board wiped lol
31 May 21 UTC I am okay with that although I have decided I prefer draw size scoring.
31 May 21 UTC :( if both of you want it that’s ok then - I’ll put my draw in and if Turkey or England don’t they’ll just get slapped lol
31 May 21 UTC Good game. I am sorry about the stab Turkey. The offer Germany and Italy offered me was too good to pass up (I'm somewhat convinced they shouldn't have given it to me).
31 May 21 UTC Good game everyone! I hope the ending was satisfying enough. I was happy that Turkey and England could get something out of this game, as well as our alliance. Austria, you were a great ally. We would have been foolish not to make you the offer.
01 Jun 21 UTC And I probably could have gone for a solo with the position I had but it would have been a giant pain and I would much prefer solid allies with no risk of stabbing me lol
01 Jun 21 UTC Don't we have enough armies to hold in the East here? I thought I stalemated this with some time to spare, and I thought Italy had enough of Iberia that we could sustain a loss of even Moscow and Warsaw.
01 Jun 21 UTC Thanks Italy I appreciate that. I think you two might have been in a position to go for a two player victory had I not stabbed Turkey in the way I did.
