25 May 21 UTC | What can I say, God knows I've seen many AncMed games, but none was as exciting and balanced as this one. You guys are crazy. I wanted a draw with Egypt, but his attacks left me with no choice. Was that necessary, Egypt? You saved me when I was about to run out, I ignored some of your attacks, but nothing more was possible. Well, in the opening I gave you the chance to start the game with 6 SC in the hope of having found an ally. Then you recognized the absurdity of a feud and cooperated. A storm to the west broke out and we, who had been pushed back to the last province, dominated and overturned the balance of power. I was very impressed by your tactical skills during this time. Unfortunately the end is a defeat for me too, because my ideal is a 3-way draw and a solo, even for me, a disaster. Should I have chosen a draw? If something solidified my decision it was the fact that you answered my present in the openning with war. |
25 May 21 UTC | Very interesting game, congrats Persia. Not quite sure Sam why you attacked me/Carthage in 11 (no hard feelings :-)) - I would have thought you had a real good chance going after Persia who was busy with Greece? |
25 May 21 UTC | It wasn’t one of my better games. I vacillated between continuing attacking Carthage and trusting you versus defending against you. It was a bad play on my part but I felt you’d eventually turn on me for the solo since I couldn’t defend my holdings and press the attack on Carthage. Congrats on the solo! |
