19 Apr 21 UTC GG all!
19 Apr 21 UTC California we could’ve taken down New York together and had a two way draw :’( when it became clear you weren’t thinking that way I decided to call it
19 Apr 21 UTC Nice draw mates. I joined spring 2008,I had a nice and scattered position. Since this is sum of squares scoring I wasn’t pressured to eliminate just to get centers instead. I don’t know the stalemate positions in the map so I always felt pressured that Peru could move into what I considered my oceans. Since this was a free game for me with low stakes, I felt getting a draw was an appropriate conclusion for me. I didn’t want to jeopardize a draw and I saw no path to a solo as of yet. New York had some very good moves that I couldn’t anticipate. Gg to all
19 Apr 21 UTC GG
19 Apr 21 UTC and thank you ,California.
19 Apr 21 UTC I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t considered stabbing you, California lol. But I figured New York had a meteoric rise going and I wasn’t prepared to exploit any breakthrough
19 Apr 21 UTC I was very afraid that Peru would win alone. Without Florida's fall action, the two could have worked together to fight Peru, but Florida messed it up.
I thought that I was very good at going to the Bermuda Triangle because of the success of my actions in 2009.
19 Apr 21 UTC sure bro
19 Apr 21 UTC Yeah I had been hoping to wipe out Mexico before our fight started, but Florida fell faster than expected and New York very widely took the initiative one turn before I was ready - I had been worried about sea of sargasso all game but couldn’t spare the fleet until it was too late
19 Apr 21 UTC *wisely, not widely lol
19 Apr 21 UTC Well, 2000 was not a good year for me, getting jumped by 5 powers at once, and then California pitched in...

Ah well, at least I managed to outlast British Columbia and Cuba. ;)
19 Apr 21 UTC Just to be clear that was old Cali not me new cali
19 Apr 21 UTC Hey don't disrespect the islands.
