05 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: As i predicted austria out. its a land grab
05 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: I have just taken over Austria and have had no press. I hope everybody has fun
05 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: we were hoping it would be left free for at least a turn or two =)
05 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry about that. I hope I can make up for it. What happens when a country is left free, do the armies and fleets just hold?
06 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: If you leave the game or otherwise fail to submit orders on a given Spring or Fall turn, it’s assumed that your government has collapsed. Your units all hold in position, but don’t support each other. If they’re dislodged, they’re disbanded. No new units are raised for the country.
If a country in civil disorder has to remove units, the units farthest from the country are removed first. If units are equally distant, then remove Fleets before Armies and then in alphabetical order by the provinces in which they’re located.
06 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: so yes next turn (if you hadn't joined) all their units would just hold.
06 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: dont apologise, anyone can join, that's just he game. im too far away to benefit anyway = )
06 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1901: Or to suffer as it were :)
07 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1901: looks like we have another lame duck. If anyone wants to cancel this game i’m open to discuss it
07 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1901: Do we know who it was?
07 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
