26 Mar 21 UTC well played gents
26 Mar 21 UTC Hey I finally survived one with you
26 Mar 21 UTC Egypt, thank you for the mutual defense to prevent the solo
26 Mar 21 UTC I took your reversal in Autumn 9 to invite me to attack Greece to get to the three way draw; however I do think you had the positioning to solo. It was a guessing game to defend Athens or Sparta and once one was lost I don’t think I could defend the remaining positions.

Thanks for the Draw!
26 Mar 21 UTC GG, even though I didn’t survive it. No hard feelings - it’s Diplomacy... - but Greece: what was your thinking in the attack on Rome that left you so open to Persia?
Again, no hard feelings, just curious.
26 Mar 21 UTC Great game all.

@Persia: Why insist on re-taking Damascus after you took Crete? I nearly disbanded Libya instead of Armenia thinking you might be about to make a break for a solo. by attacking me.

The reason I was moving my army up was first to help you block Greek retreats from Byzantium, and later to borrow a build which would allow me to get an additional fleet in Alexandria, since we seemed to have too many armies to hold the draw line with Greece gone.
26 Mar 21 UTC and yes I agree this could have been a solo if Carthage kept pushing. I would not have taken the invitation to attack Greece unless the Ionian and Ausonian seas, and the Gulf of Tacape became empty.
26 Mar 21 UTC Finally, thanks Persia for reading the board well and helping counter Carthage early on, instead of trying to take advantage of my move vulnerability. We had a somewhat tense start with me taking Jer and then changing course once I saw Greece was attacking Rome instead of you.
