30 Mar 21 UTC | Gg everyone. Sorry for the extra time at the end, I wanted to see how much I can push it before everyone unites against me. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | That was a ton of fun. The furtherest I ever got with Italy. A shame I couldn’t take Spain. That was the nail in the coffin. Not setting up a better stab against Poland with Sevastopol was also a big mistake. Sparring with Egypt was also a ton of fun lol. Well earned draw all around. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | My big lucky game, that was a very stressful when Italy are in very good position when i had taken egypt. Egypt also do not have enough army to go. But so lucky to join the final draw with you all! |
30 Mar 21 UTC | I was hoping it would come before my defeat, having pushed three units to nine with an almost dead empire of Spain. It hadn't happen... Oh damn... Too bad... Gg everybody. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | Spain, I think at some point you were the only one not voting for draw. That's what motivated me to turn on you. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | @Ita and Poland: If I had stopped my attempts to advance / withdrew some units, would you have whittled Egypt too? |
30 Mar 21 UTC | For me, definitely. I tried to show you a few rounds with a hold support on you both to say if you stop here we can go for three-way draw. But never felt comfortable with either of you ultimately. Poland taking Rumania made me very nervous but I ultimately saw that move as a way for him to get an extra unit north. You not leaving Gibraltar alone was also an indicator you weren't willing to work for a 3-way draw. Ultimately, you guys could have wiped me out so I'm grateful we ended it where we did. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | I think you would have stalemated me in the Western Mediterranean actually, while I would have had trouble holding back Poland. That's why I went for the draw. I also thought at that stage you wouldn't have trusted me enough to focus on Egypt - but you are right, there was an opportunity to do that earlier. |
30 Mar 21 UTC | but in the end I didn't want to miss the long shot to a solo in case you or Poland misstepped :) |
30 Mar 21 UTC | Good game all. I could only play defensive when Ukraine came for me. I hoped by giving everything to Italy, I would force Poland and Egypt to side with me against Italy. It worked...for a few years |
30 Mar 21 UTC | Good game everyone! |
