22 Mar 21 UTC | well played spain |
22 Mar 21 UTC | Thanks England! I was (almost) sorry to stab you at the end, we had such a great game together. We started in difficulty; I thought Russia would make a solo. Also Egypt did a poor defence so I thought safer to take him out and win time, and then as Russia started to make mistakes, I saw a chance at soling that I didn't dream of until the end. And a solo with Spain on this map was too tempting to let go. |

22 Mar 21 UTC | I thought it would be a 3 way, but the defense of the south wasn't handled well. It surprised me, because Russia stymied me up north quite well. I haven't analyzed any particular move or year, but my sense of it, Russia was too eager attacking egypt, especially at the end. The movement of armies and navies south was slow, but that was as much my fault for not relieving pressure on Murmansk. But great seizing of the opportunity. |
23 Mar 21 UTC | I guess Russia was confident we would have a 3way in 2009, he didn't see coming an army in Syria + moving a fleet in Ist, and the built of a fleet in RUM. |
23 Mar 21 UTC | Gg, all, especially Spain! You are correct, I was anticipating a 3 way draw and let my play in the South slip until it was too late. It was my first time on this map, and I proved I have much to learn, but thank you all for the great experience! |
